The company was prompt and not too much pressure to make the "sale." The employee used the owner's son to do most of the repair. He was a bit harsh w/the kid and that reflected bad on the "professionalism" of the company. They poured some concrete to fill the hole they had to make in the slab. Now that I saw what had to be done, I could have done this myself. I would have used a concrete saw to first cut the concrete and then used the jackhammer - this would have kept clean lines in the cut. The worker said he would level out the concrete and make it nice and smooth. The kid did it and it was sloppy, which the worker did not bother to fix. My contractor had to grind down the lumps and we had to use a product to level the concrete. If you have to do extra to finish the repair, the repairman did not do a good job!
I'm still up in the air to figure out if we paid too much for the new water heater...
