Great, I called Rick because of some questionable repairs by another repair company. Rick was able to come out the same day, take a look at the issue and resolve it quickly and efficiently. He explained what he was doing every step of the way

I called Rick on the morning of Monday October 3, 2016 and he was at my front door that afternoon. I had just moved into a new home and was having trouble programming my garage door remote. Rick came by to help me out. Turns out that at some point someone had changed out the controller on the garage door and the code was now set by switches instead of intellicode. To make matters worse the dip switches were hidden inside the unit which had to be disassembled in order to access them. None of this was an issue for Rick who had new remote programed and working in about 10 minutes. He then noticed that the arm the connect the screw drive to the door itself was installed correctly so he fixed that while he was at it. I was so impressed with his work that I hired him to install new door opener for the 3rd car garage which didn't have one. He quoted me a price and we agreed on the date for the install. The next week Rick showed up on time with the new garage door open and installed it in about an hour.

Rick was awesome!  Of the 3 companies I spoke to before choosing this one, Rick was by far the most knowledgeable about my garage door problem.  He arrived on time, worked very efficiently and was very thorough.  He was also very honest, helpful and courteous.  I would definitely recommend him and I would DEFINITELY hire him again!

I thought the garage door was beyond repair.  It looked very bad.  However, Rick showed up and quickly surveyed the damage and provided several options to repair the door or replace parts.  He was slightly delayed but called beforehand to let me know and was punctual to the revised time.  He was professional, courteous and pleasant.  He seemed very honest and upfront with my options.  My neighbor stopped by to see if he could help with her garage door and he agreed to work on her door once he was finished with mine (it was already after 7 pm so would make a late night!).

This is the 3rd time I have used Rick and Best Value Garage Doors. He promptly arrived at the scheduled time. Rick quickly assessed the problem and explained his fix. The repairs were done quickly and effectively. While Rick was there he even serviced the second garage door. Both doors and openers now work great.

Rick was on time replaced springs and repaired door in a timely manner at a good price. I would refer Rick to all my neighbors, family and friends in need of garage door repairs and replacement. Rick seemed to really enjoy helping and was good at his work.

Rick did a great job.  He clearly explained what was wrong and recommended repairing the garage door opener instead of replacement.  Rick told me the current opener was very well made and worth keeping for the cost of repair.  I appreciated his honesty.  Rick would have also received a A for punctuality as he had to push my service call back one day.  He did indicate that he was busy most of the day on the date of my scheduled call and he did call early to tell me he would not make the original scheduled time.  
I would definitely use Rick and Best Value Garage Doors again.
