My husband and I were initially working with another realtor who came recommended from a friend.  We were frustrasted after several days of being shown homes which were not right for us.  The homes were either in our price range but too run down, or too expensive and really too much home for us.  We felt like we wanted something "in between", but with no hope in sight.  Then we went out on a Sunday to look for ourselves, and met Jody Chapman at an open house she was showing.  Jody was sooo bright and energetic from the start, and had an incredible knowledge of all ranges of properties in the Newport Beach area.  She gave us hope that there were properties in our price range that could match our wants and needs.  We changed to her as our realtor, and this WAS the best thing we could have done!  By the next day she had lined up over 10 homes to see, and these were a much better fit to our interests than anything we had seen previously.  Within a couple weeks we had found our dream spot thanks to Jody.  She was incredibly prompt to return our calls, was responsive to our questions and concerns, and was exceptionally knowlegeable and helpful in guiding us through the whole home buying process.  She also was terrific in helping us evaluate our home for repair needs, and negotiating these in our purchase price.  My husband and I had purchased a home before with another realtor, and got such a small fraction of the service that we received from Jody.  We thought of her "WOW, this is was a realtor should be like!".  I can't say enough good things about Jody, and think she is truly outstanding at her job.
