That was the basic reasons my wife and I recommend them. The above reasons really put them over the top. They were in the process of updating the wiring in the kitchen and noticed that the wiring for the circuit breaker box was done poorly and in a dangerous way. They fixed it without charging us extra. We also asked them to set up a sink in the garage, which we purchased, and they added plumbing and installed the sink at no extra charge.
Most importantly, we had some condition issues with our cabinets when they showed up. I was okay with the problems, they were very minor, but didn't say anything. The owner Felipe, called me and was more upset about them then even I was. They paid to have a cabinet repairman come to make them look perfect. Just the fact that they cared as much with our happiness in the finished product as we did made me realize that we had made the right decision going with them. Our kitchen looks amazing/fantastic/gorgeous and we get compliments on it every time we have guests over.
You may have to wait a bit until they can start considering their popularity right now, but if you want quality work that looks amazing, I promise they are worth the wait. We are planning to redo our bathroom in the next few years and I already know we are going to hire Palazzo to do the work.
I could never have done the job the Ezekiel did. He is very experienced, and, more than that, he cares about doing high-quality work. He spent two-hours and the price was $245, which seemed more than reasonable for his time and effort.
Palazzo's construction team was fantastic. They started work on the day scheduled and finished EARLY! Unheard of with any remodel! They were polite, and respectful of our home. They did a great job keeping the house clean while they worked.
We will definitely use them again.
I recommend them.
(Gentleman that did an outstanding job). I show her the mirror, and lighting. By end of week Jose says this isn't going to work
(Higher counter, back splash, wainscoting, low ceiling), lighting won't fit, mirror won't fit! The young lady comes to check it out,
And says she didn't account for the drop ceiling. Says we can do sconces on the sides, but it will cost more because Jose will need to re
Wire. (Not to mention I have a light fixture to return/exchange). Mind you Jose had already re-wired for current lighting. She didn't account for drop ceiling, but it will cost me more to change light, which we discussed lighting type several times. I said no to spending more money, then was running around looking for lighting that would "fit". I had her order a new mirror. I ordered a new fixture from PB,
(Only after going to lamps plus & Home Depot, couldn't find size, finish or style). The new fixture arrived, it was a 1/4" off, and wouldn't clear the mirror. Jose suggested Walnut Creek Lighting. I was in and out in 15 minutes with a new fixture that fits the space and clears the mirror. Jose saved the day! The bathroom looks beautiful, but as time wears on, the mirror looks a bit small, and light fixture looks cramped. We should've gone with sconces on either side of mirror. But at $7900.00 I wouldn't pay more for the mistake made by designer.
Paying final bill, I asked about water rebate info for the new Toto toilet, she said she didn't know anything about water rebate. I asked her about Angie's Member discount, she said it was too late for that, that I could use it on the next bathroom. We had Palazzo give us estimates on a master bath (32,000) and a full bath (10,000) at the same time as the half bath. We started with half bath to see how it would go, then do full bath. We're getting more estimates. The full bath has same drop ceiling.
The irritation is "not accounting for drop ceiling, which you can't miss, and the wiring for sconces that "would cost more", when this was her error. Also not knowing about water rebates, and not getting my Angie's member discount. (Does that mean they would estimate higher if they know about the discount prior?), all that and knowing we were planning on 2 more bath remodels that we had already picked everything out. If she would have offered the change in light fixture at there labor expense, not mine............
Palazzo has a beautiful showroom, and the young lady, was very good at helping me choose counter tops, tile, sinks, hardware, cabinets/
Vanity style & finish, etc. I think down the line she will be excellent at this profession. We are checking around for a few more estimates,
But on the other hand we had already picked out everything, the drop ceiling won't be a issue I'm sure, and we know what to expect.
Kiersti's decorating and design expertise was invaluable in the
selection of sanitary appliances, wall paper and tile. Ordinarily
this would have been a stressful process for me. Arturo did most of
the work ? cleanly, quietly and superbly. Several weeks after the
project was completed I noticed a small leak on a toilet connection.
Arturo came out on the same day I called and corrected the minor problem.
Kiersti followed up with a phone call to make sure all was
well. I certainly plan to use them for my next bathroom remodel.
We went to Palazzo K&B showroom where Kiersti met us and guided us through the process of selecting the granite and travertine backsplash. The showroom was well appointed and had many samples to chose from. We didn't want the commodity "bull nose" pre cut granite but the custom granite slabs. We knew that would increase the cost but Kiersti gave us another fair estimate and she provided four granite slab companies that Palazzo has an arrangement. She became our project manager and was our point of contact throughout the 3 week construction process. Throughout this process she kept us informed and answered our questions via email and phone conversations.
Demolition of the kitchen countertops and backsplash was a one day event on 15 October and was done by Eziekel and Fortino. They measured the templates for the cut granite as they would the team who would do the granite cutting and countertop installation. Installation of the countertop was to commence on the 23rd with the backsplash on the 24th. Kiersti advised that due to a scheduling error there would be a 6 day slide to 29 and 30 October. That slide was the only hiccup in this whole project.
Countertop installation was a one day event. Eziekel and Fortino cut the slabs of granite into a free-flowing pattern with only a 4 inch seam in front of the cooktop. Very nice! They also took our late request of using the granite as the backsplash behind the sink vice the travertine. The granite's pattern flowed superbly even after this late request. Well done! Cleanup was thorough.
Jorge was the tile guy. Another master who completed that aspect in one day and very professionally.
Plumbers came on the 31st and hooked up our new dishwasher and the garbage disposal.
Total time from the demolition to the plumbing was 16 days and we were left with a very well done kitchen remodel without new cabinets and flooring. Kiersti stopped by on Friday to take photos. She even liked the work Palazzo fashioned.
So we really couldn't have asked for anything else! Kiersti and the craftsman did an excellent.and artistic job and we would most definately use Palazzo again.
I never felt rushed or pressured by Mark but at the same time I was given all of the attention that I needed.
The demo/installation team was professional and courteous. They comleted their work quietly and in good time and the clean up was outstanding. Cheque (sp?) seemed very pleased that I recognized what wonderful work he and his teammate did and the fabulous attention to detail that I could see.
There was only one minor glitch about the location of the sink, and we were able to work that out with a minimum of effort (and no extra cost.) The overall completion time was right on schedule. Mark personally completed the installation of the plumbing to ensure that the project was completed on time. It was the smoothest remodel job I have ever experienced. albeit it was not a huge project.
I love my beautiful new countertops etc. more and more every day. I know that I would have not be as happy with results if I had hired any of the other companies. I would recommend Palazzo to anyone, and Palazzo is the first company I will contact if I need any other work done.
The kitchen is a dream to use now and my husband now feels like he is in a hotel bathroom.
I really appreciate Palazzo?s beautiful showroom. It is truly a one stop shopping experience for a remodel. They have many simulations for kitchens and bathroom. These are helpful for selecting products and also eliminating choices.
Felipe Franca is a powerhouse ? professional, knowledgeable and has outstanding design skills. Jennifer in the showroom is an absolute jewel and her knowledge and suggestions were valuable to me. Mark and Oddie in the showroom answered numerous questions during the remodel process.
The work crews are hard working and focused. Ronaldo and Checke ? you are masters of your craft. Bryan, Gene, Luis, Santiago, Forstino, Aaron, Juan, Andrew ? we thank you for your dedication to give us a beautiful remodel.
Customer service is a strong focus at Palazzo Kitchens and Bath. This is true throughout the organization. Making the customer happy is their goal. In our case, they scored big time.
Thank you Palazzo K&B!
