We are totally satisfied with J Ward General Contractors work. Everything done is quality work. Those who see the finished product can't believe that the newly renovated living space used to be an almost useless sloping dirt basement.

Joseph is very timely and manages multiple projects well.

Joe and his crew are great. They are professional, do great work. I was so happy with the quality of the bath remodel, that I asked them to do my kitchen. Both were done nearly flawlessly without hassles, change orders, or delays.

His work was great but the problem was I should have research him further. He called me for the things that I needed to be done. He took a whole day just for one siding out and that was like 800$ a day so I thought it was ridiculous. He did a good work but I felt like I got cheated because I don't think he will take a whole day to take off a piece of lumber against the wall to put a new board and hammer it. He double charged me for my two toilets because when I got a research on home depot, I found out that it was just half the price. I had crack and he fixed it pretty good but I just told him to mold it and he said that we need to put a new pave over it. He also took another whole day to do the job. It was kind of expensive for me. I felt so naive thinking why the job took so long. I felt like I was taken advantage but he did a good work.

Joseph Ward came in to view the project, gave me an estimate and time when job could be completed. A few days later, at the time we had agreed upon, two of his workers came in to rehang the sliding door and door trim. They worked quickly and neatly. They were very courteous and respectful.
The door was hung perfectly; it did not stick any more.

Over all it couldn't have been a better experience!

I have nothing but the highest praise for Joseph Ward Contractors. He and his entire crew were totally professional, careful, highly skilled and reliable while working our house. They began and finished the job on schedule, despite a very rainy month. Their work was expertly completed, down to matching door, window and crown trim pieces for a nearly 30 year old custom home in Orinda. The crew was talented and congenial and left the job site clean and tidy every day. I plan on using Joe for other projects at our home because he is at once honest, responsive and highly professional. I recommend his services without reservations.

It took him about six hours to complete the work. The experience was fine. The crew came in and they were very neat, clean and they put plastic around everywhere so the floors and walls would not get dusty. They were very thorough. The price seemed to be fair. When they left I could not even tell they had been there besides the fact that I had a new door. I am thinking of having them put in a solarium. I am thinking of calling him first to see if he can do it.
