This was an emergency.  I am a senior (you know how that goes) and I only have the one toilet.  I tried unsuccessfully to unclog it myself but to no avail.  I called two other well rated companies but they could not help me until the following week.  I tried Independent Plumbing and was pleasantly surprised.  I left a message and it was returned within 10 minutes.  Tony arrived exactly on time (on his way home).  He was very courteous and worked quickly to complete the job.  I happened to mention that I frequently had an odor coming from my bathroom sink drain and he undid the stopper to see if I had a buildup of hair, etc.  It was clear so he replaced the stopper.  There was no charge associated with that extra help.  He gave me his card and I will certainly call him again as needed.

Perfect work.  Very professional and didn't charge me $250 like so many other plumbers do (minimum hourly work)  He bids on the job, not hourly.

We we're having our bathrooms fixed up so decided it was a good time to have all the old galvanized water pipes replaced with copper in our pre-war home.  Tony gave us an estimate, and broke the job up in three sections to do separately if we chose.  He was always responsive when coordinating our renovation project.  Kurt did the work and went beyond the call of duty when he ran into some challenges in our old house like broken and clogged drains and poor accessibility.  Tony returned to review the completed job, and assured me that he would take care of any issues should they arise, which they have not.  I would definitely call Independent Plumbing again for any plumbing needs.

We chose Independent Plumbing because of good reviews on Angie's List and also since it was a small local company we thought they might be more responsive and reliable than other larger ones we have used in the past.  The tenants were very pleased with the way Tony and his helper repaired or replaced everything that needed fixing and then cleaned up nicely when they were done, and we were happy with the way we were able to handle payment from afar.  They are now the ones we will definitely call for any other plumbing needs!

Tony did a great job of helping with the products and selection.  He referred a tile guy, Jeff at Mild to Wild Tile in Oakley.  The job was a completed success and I now have a brand new beautiful White Kohler sink, amazing new faucet and awesome garbage disposal in my kitchen.  I will definitely use Independent Plumbing again!!

Tony arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem with my kitchen faucet, which had been leaking for about a month.  He had the parts necessary to fix it on his truck and showed me the defective parts. 
I'm very happy with the work performed and would recommend this service provider. 

Diagnostic and explanation of problem was clear and very honest.  I needed a new faucet also, and he went out to get a new one.  Work done was on time and leak was fixed, and I got a new faucet that worked better.  Overall, I was very impressed with the professionalism and excellent job that Independent Plumbing did.

Mr. Moreci was very polite, prompt, and professional. He could tell at a glance why both the bathtub and shower were leaking, and properly repaired the botched jobs done by a prior plumber. The bathtub repair required welding to extend the water pipe to actually connect to the faucet. I would use independent plumbing again.

Independent Plumbing cleared their work area and kept a neat work area. A valve connection was polished even though not asked.

I will not hesitate to work with Tony in the future. Tony is upfront, extremely knowledgeable and very responsive. He completed all the work on time and we paid what was agreed upon for the initial estimate. He does quality work and we were very happy with the finished product. If you need any kind of plumbing services in the future, Independent Plumbing in Concord is the way to go.  I have had bad experiences with big name plumbing companies in past years.  The trouble is you really do not know who you are getting and if they really have had the proper training and experience to do the job, which could result in making the problem go from bad to worse and cost you more money.  When I reported that I had a small, but constant, leak from inside the wall, he immediately made arrangements around his busy schedule to come over and work on the problem before it got worse.  Tony was right on time and did an immediate assessment of the problem.  He took conservative steps during his diagnosis, instead of tearing apart walls, floors, sinks and toilets.  He found the leak simply by cutting away a small square of sheetrock in the garage and found the leak in the copper piping, cut out the leaking pipe, made an identical replacement piece and reconnected it.  All I have to do is to air it dry for a few days and repair the sheetrock piece, which he cut into a neatly fitted square. The price was more than reasonable for the amount of time and labor he went through to fix it.  Tony runs a very professional, honest and fair business.  He knows what he is doing with 21 years of plumbing experience.  This company comes with my highest recommendation.

Tony has been my plumber for over ten years.  He has changed out all the faucets in my house ( 10).  I get his discount at the plumbing store.  He is always on time, the charges are always reasonable, and the repairs have held up over time.  I feel very fortunate to have such a competent and mic guy as my plumber.

They were very good.  The helped me out a lot.  The first time they came out they did a spectacular work.  I believe my wife was doing the research and I was also there and they were quicker to respond and I don’t know why I used them but we were very satisfied with them.  I liked the response time and their professionalism.  They are prompt.  They knew how to fix and what needs to be fixed and they did it right.  It was high quality work.

They arrived on time, and were quite pleasant.  They asked me what the problem was, and we had a few clogged pipes that hadn't been cleaned out in a long while.  They got to work right away, finished quickly.  It wasn't a big job, but it was one I wasn't prepared to do.  Thanks guys!
