One of the best known big local plumbing companies quoted us $1700 for the job, and their person hemmed and hawed about how they could reconfigure things in the tricky spot of our meter. I tried Hank instead and he just made things work. He saw how to configure some pieces of new pipe so the meter could be mounted properly. He even did a few minutes of carpentry to make it work. And his cost was less than 1/3 of what the big company quoted. If you are not comfortable with someone who might come up with a creative solution, Hank might not be for you.
