+ -1 moreOne of the best known big local plumbing companies quoted us $1700 for the job, and their person hemmed and hawed about how they could reconfigure things in the tricky spot of our meter. I tried Hank instead and he just made things work. He saw how to configure some pieces of new pipe so the meter could be mounted properly. He even did a few minutes of carpentry to make it work. And his cost was less than 1/3 of what the big company quoted. If you are not comfortable with someone who might come up with a creative solution, Hank might not be for you. But if you want someone who will just get it done, try him. I believe the company information is outdated. It is "Hank's Plumbing." 925-381-8753 / 1-800-411-4265
Description of Work: We needed a new earthquake shut-off valve on our gas line. This was complicated because the gas meter in our house was not well-mounted due to old pipe configuration.
