My wife and I interviewed 5 landscapers, 4 of whom promoted the concept of an engineered stone retaining wall. Their ideas for landscaping were not compatible with ours...and then we met Muneer Hassan. His creativity and vision were immediately apparent and he was extremely sensitive to our ideas and to the surrounding neighborhood.

Muneer recommended a natural Napa Basalt rock retaining wall and envisioned accent boulders and flagstone stepping stones to best display the drought resistant shrubs and plants that he and we would select. He suggested a cost effective design for a drip irrigation system. Further, he suggested that he widen our driveway by 18 inches to allow guests to exit their cars without stepping into the yard.

Muneer and his crew demolished the old retaining wall and concrete curb along our driveway and widened our driveway. His crew prepared the yard for construction of a 42 foot natural rock retaining wall, which his crew masterfully built. They excavated old weeded and rocky soil, amended the soil, contoured the yard, applied a pre-emergent, laid down landscape fabric and then installed a battery operated drip irrigation system, followed by decorative mulch. Muneer also used the same process to prepare the median strip in front of our home. He then supervised the planting of a beautiful selection of drought tolerant plants and shrubs.

Muneer has an ability to envision and design and landscape a yard that is uncanny. His ability to implement his plan is very impressive. He is terrific to work with, is very creative and personable and communicates well. His crew is knowledgeable and efficient and works very well together.
My wife and I have absolutely no reservations recommending Muneer Hussan for any garden design and landscaping project.

Patrick fit me into a very busy schedule. He came at 5pm on Saturday. I'm very happy with his repair and plan to use him in the future for my yard and sprinklers.

I got H and H Landscaping's info from a flyer left on our front door. I called and they returned our call within a few hours. Mr. Hoang came out the next day for an estimate. When we called him back to let him know he had the job, he started the job within a few days. They worked on it continuously -- even on Sunday when he brought more bricks. In the past, we've had contractors who split their time up between more than one job so there were days at a time when no work was being done. That's not the case with Hand H Landscaping. There WAS one day of no work being done because they had to let the concrete set. Also, Mr. Hoang suggested a small change in the shape of the patio that was an improvement on my original plan. That turned out great and I didn't feel like he was trying to talk me into something I didn't want. They didn't ask for any money for supplies up front either. They'd worked for a few days before we paid them less than a third of the total cost of the job. We paid the rest the day they were finished. They also answered our questions and did little things that we were concerned about -- like smoothing out the edges of the brick patios with concrete.
