I bought a very expensive, partially custom designed wall unit in cherry, selecting colors from their samples. Several friends went with me over the course of a couple of months to make sure all the pieces and options were correct and making sure the color was the right one. When it arrived and I saw it in the showroom, it was immediately clear it was not the right color - it was not even close to the color on the sample. I told them so and they insisted I have it delivered where it would be just fine. Wrong again! Upon delivery to my house it was even more apparent the color was completely wrong. When I called them, they said there was nothing they could do. The installation of all the audio-video equipment was a few days later and I had no choice but to get everything installed because the owners of Elegantouch said they couldn't do anything to help. After much back and forth, the owner agreed to give me a few hundred dollars to make me happy but his real intent was to make me go away. What I wanted was for them to take back the piece (and it could have happened so easily when I saw the pieces at the store and maybe that's my mistake) or even when it was at my house and sat for a few days before the equipment was installed. Their lack of response caused a really big problem on my end and I was stuck. I was furious, too, because this was expensive furniture and it was completely the wrong color.Do not buy furniture here - they try to get you to buy stuff based on their outdated and old color samples and sure enough, when the color is wrong, they say " too bad - our invoices all say minor color variations are normal". This was not a case of "minor color variation", this was the completely WRONG color! I filed a claim with my credit card company but after a couple of months of back and forth information-getting from me and the owners of the company, Visa sided with them and said they could do nothing. So much for a Visa guarantee!
