The project was to remove redwood decking, replace it with Trek and install two handrails. I had asked about what other contracts said about Trek needing 16 joists and mine were 32. I was told that was not necessary but the foreman said it was needed so the change ordered added 33% to the cost of the project. If I had known, I would have replaced it with redwood. The Trek boards are thinner so there are gaps around the tops and the area is slightly smaller so ugly cement was added to fill those gaps. The handrails are rough redwood and if you touched them your hand would be full of splinters. They were supposed to finish yesterday and have left garbage around. I had hoped that they would have returned the furniture to the deck, but that was not in the contract, but I would have expected them to return things they moved to where they got them. Maybe they will come back for the garbage but I do not have too much hope that the person who comes for the final payment will do that.

Project- Balcony/Patio tear-out and reinstall, including waterproofing, drainage, and repair of a leak. My house is about 80 years old; I discovered that there was a leak from a (nearly) roof-top patio down into the dining room wall below. Ben came over, assessed the situation, and was very upfront about the price being determined by what they found after they pulled up the patio flooring. Unfortunately, it was kind of a mess under there. Ben explained the process and pricing very clearly and set up the different crews for each layer of the tear-out and reinstall. They were great about working with my schedule, Ben always called me back if there was an issue. The job, which was a multi-step project, was finished pretty quickly. Everyone was very polite, cleaned up and carted away any debris after every layer, and they were even very nice to my dog, (who can be a little annoying ) it looks good now and I am confident that the waterproofing is solid. Will definitely rehire them for future projects!

We used Cosmic Renovation & Roofing for our roof replacement (including skylights, gutter, attic venting, etc) for our house in Northern California (San Mateo). Their team was fantastic! Blake was our project manager and he ensured that the project was running on time, provided ideas / recommendations on colors and material, and was extremely helpful for a small side project (replacing our patio covering) that we included in the overall roof replacement. The company overall was extremely professional. Their quote and pricing were competitive and they were flexible on what should or shouldn't be part of the project. Their advice was on-point and demonstrated their knowledge depth (materials, color-combos, what is and isn't "worth it"). Additionally - whenever I had a question or a concern - they were extremely responsive, often showing up within hours of being called / contacted. Therefore, I would highly recommend their services and would use them again for future projects.

I got a cold call from this company. They called my cell phone looking for my father (who never had this number ) when I informed them that he was dead, the man apologizd and PROCEEDED TO GIVE HIS SALES PITCH. The audacity! Seriously, who does that?

Cosmic roofing lacks honesty and integrity. We purchased a home with a new roof that had been installed by Cosmic one month prior to sale. One year later we have to completely replace the roof due to leaking tar dripping down from the roof. When I reached out to Cosmic as we have a warranty, they stated this was not their fault b/c the leaking underlayment was coming from residue from a prior roof. They offered to send someone out to take a look and the man they sent defensively stated this is not my fault and began yelling at me and bullying me. They did not offer to help repair the roof. Instead they offered to remove the old roof at cost. We wrote back (3 times) to accept their offer to remove the roof and they failed to respond. What we have experienced is lack of accountability, extreme disrespect, and lack of follow through and honesty. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE IF YOU VALUE HONESTY AND INTEGRITY. (More dishonesty in their response). beware

The work is excellent, and the price reasonable. They showed up when they said they would, and the workers were polite and cleaned up well after themselves (outside).As for customer service, they were friendly and helpful. The reason I gave a lower rating for service was that we had such a mess to deal with, and they didn't give us what I would consider enough warning. I understand that they couldn't help the mess, but they should have warned us so we could cover things and not have so much to clean up.

My friend recommended me Cosmic Renovation on my roof replacement and I contacted them to see their offer. Their offer was very acceptable and I decided to hire them. Blake and his crew shoved up on time, worked hard every day from early in the morning to the dark and my roof was finished on time. The price was fair and within my budget. I am completely satisfied with the outcome and will highly recommend Cosmic Renovation and Roofing.

This company is efficient and very responsive. If I had a problem or a question I would text the project manager Nick and I would get an almost immediate reply, The same was true of Jennifer in the office. I was in the middle of a re-fi and required information. I always got a call or email response. They were quick, through and they cleaned up after themselves very well..

I contacted Cosmic renovations & roofing after seeing their add on, Home Improvement Guide to Concrete our back yard. . Miki Braun turned up timely (only!) for the first appointment. Miki's quote was way ahead of the others I had received. However I was impressed by his professionalism and confidence, even though, in my mind I was not going with that price for the job. A few days later Miki made a follow up call and by next Monday , we had signed a contract to get the job done. What stood out here with Miki , was that even though he knew, his quote was higher, he did not give up on the client, he still followed up and made sure he twitched the numbers to get the job. At the end of the day I still paid a higher price, which I do not regret, as their workmanship, was worth that extra buck !

Once Cosmic started the roofing job they worked diligently to complete and Miki Braun kept in touch to advise on additional work needed to complete job. He returned my emails and phone calls promptly and satisfactorily answered all inquires. Workers were efficient.

My roof looks amazing thanks to Cosmic Renovation! I had a very old roof that had various repairs done already so getting a new roof was necessary. The pricing Cosmic Renovation offers is much more convenient then the nearby companies. But even better the work they do is quality work, they use very good materials in order to complete the job. The process was very quick, and the team did a great job working together in order to make it as convenient for me as possible. I could't have had a better experience for replacing my roof then the one I had at Cosmic Renovation it was perfect!

Solar Panel Install
I was in need of solar panels as my light bill was way too high! I was referred to Cosmic Renovation by a neighbor and after the estimate I received I was in! This company works very professional and cleans up after themselves. They installed solar panels in a very convenient time frame, and by the time you knew it I was seeing the difference month to month with my light bill. Solar Panel Install
Cosmic Renovation installed a new roof on our house last year, and during that time I had spoken to them about the benefits of using solar energy for my house. After weighing the benefits I finally made the switch. They installed the solar panels on my roof, and in only two months my bills have dropped significantly! I can't believe I waited so long to do this. The guys are cosmic renovation are super professional, work fast, and know so much about what they do.
