Power wash was done on a Friday.  Painters arrived the following Monday and painted exterior of my two-story house in three days.  The entire crew was very impressive!  They were very meticulous and thorough.  Sanded and primed an area which needed it before applying the paint.  My neighbors and I were all very happy with this company.  In fact, a neighbor had them paint their house too!  And then, yet another neighbor also had them paint their house!

It was excellent.  We were happy with the whole job.  They did our neighbors house and so we got feedback from them.  They did a good job and they’re local.  They did an excellent job as far as we were concerned.  The price was about the same for our house, for our neighbors’ house and also for several other people.  According to our neighbor, he did a lot of estimates and they were good.  They were very good with responsiveness and they were punctual as well.  We would probably call them back again if we needed to, but hopefully we won’t need to paint again.

They were very thorough, but worked quickly and completed the entire house in 3 days. They did miss a few places on the front door that they varnished in the late afternoon when the light was poor. They promptly came back and touched it up. They had to go onto the tile roof to reach several places, but did not damage any tiles. Their clean up job was very good.

We got several estimates and they had the very reasonable estimate. I don’t remember that they were the lowest but they were right in there. We picked the color that was from the other company but they were able to match it with the particular paint that they use. They were on time and they were neat. They did 2 coats and they filled cracks and did caulking. They did lots of preparations. They just did a great job. They matched the paint that I chose and they matched it perfectly and we’re very happy with their work.

The house was scheduled for power washing on a Friday. Nelson who is the owner of the company called to remind us of the day and time. The man showed up on time and power washed the stucco. Painting was scheduled to start on the following Monday.

The painting team of Jorge, Alex and Manual showed up bright and early on time. They spot primed and masked as promised and got the first coat on the house by the end of that day. I could tell Jorge was the head of the team and was very fastidious and detail oriented. All work was completed in a very timely and professional way. The job was completed in only three days. This included two coats on the stucco and trim and front door and entry walkway. They even put a coat on the side shed to match the house.

We had provided all the paint except for the entry walkway. Nelson bought that for us and delivered it and checked on the job. Upon completion when they left the premises the perimeter was clean and as before they started.

We could not have been more pleased. We are very happy with the colors we chose and started getting compliments from passers by the day after it was completed. Contra Costa Painting did a great job and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to paint their house.

The workers were timely, professional and hard-working.  The quality of their work was top notch.  Last day they followed up with a walk through to identify any areas of touch up required.

Project went quickly and smoothly from start to finish.  Job site was left neat and clean at the end of each day.  The crew was polite, friendly and professional; they coordinated well with another contractor performing work which was to have been completed prior to the start of painting, but was delayed.

I called Nelson and he came by that afternoon and gave us an estimate and wrote a contract specifying exactly what they would do. We felt that the price was fair and were pleased with the plan. They set a firm date and arrived on time. The paint crew was friendly and professional. We are very happy with the job. We highly recommend them.

What a fantastic experience! The owner came out and gave us his bid and we were so taken by his sincerity and great personality, we didn't even bother getting any other bids. They went over and above what was promised and the end result was an excellent paint job and very happy customers! The crew that did the work was friendly and courteous, and they were very careful not to over-spray the vegetation. We found the price to be more than reasonable. This is a great group of people and we highly recommend them!

Overall they did a great job.  The owner was professional and knowledgeable.  His price was on the higher end of the estimates I received but I knew the minute he walked around the building that he would take care of the entire job without asking me to prep anything.  Other painters kept asking me questions like "who is going to remove that sign or should I paint around it" "will you pull the bushes back or do I have to cover them with tarps".  Nelson just knew what he needed to do and got the job done!
The only problem I had was with the color.  I paid quite a bit of money to have someone help me pick exactly what I wanted.  CC Painting ordered the paint from Sherman Williams instead of Benjamin Moore where I had chosen the color sample.  The paint came out a different shade (more green than brown) and I am disappointed in the overall look.  The building turned out too dark and I have had a few tenants comment on it being better than it was but a little drab. I will give it a few weeks, add some color with flowers and wait until my new sign arrives.  If I don't get used to it I will ask CC Painting to possibly change the trim color to make the contrast closer to what we were originally looking for.  I do plan to use this company again to paint my own house, I will just be sure to check the color more closely before the job really gets underway. 

Great job...call them every 5-6 yrs to do trim.   Price is very fair.   Have gotten compliments on how the place looks after they have painted.

Nelson's crew did an excellent job.  From start to finish the whole experience was first class.  Nelson came out, took some measurements and gave us a quote on the spot.  We scheduled them to come out a couple weeks later. The first day they came out and pressure washed the whole house, they really got even nook and cranny.  Two days later the painting crew showed up and started the prep which took a better part of the day.  They started painting that day and got one coat complete on the house.  Next day they applied another coat and finished the trim and the front door.  The crew always showed up exactly on time and got right to work.  They left the jobsite very tidy after each day of work.  After a final walk around with the lead painter the job was complete and I couldn?t be happier with the results.  Overall and excellent experience and would highly recommend Contra Costa Painting.

I had a good experience working with Contra Costa Painting.  The weather did delay the start of the project, but went they got started the job went well.  The house is a two story with a lot of trim detail painting & three garage door that where painted the body color from white.

They were prompt, punctual, and they left the house clean everyday. They did an overall excellent job.

I selected this contractor after his response to a Request for Quote I sent to six or eight companies.  He didn't hesitate to talk about liability and workers' comp insurance coverage  or to give me a co-insurance certificate.  He also eagerly offered references to customers the company had recently served in this local area.  He always kept every appointment and promise.  His crew was careful of my property and fast in their masking, painting and cleanup.  He used paint with a 10-year guarantee and matched existing colors to satisfy the homeowners' association requirements.  He even agreed to split the job into two separate phases to help us with cash flow.  I recommended this company to a friend who was also extremely happy with their service and quality.  It's nice to know a licensed contractor who can be trusted to handle my property like his own.

Excellent experience from estimate to finished product. Crews were all very professional and worked quickly taking care not to destroy any foliage or items near the house. I have recommended them to many friends already. We will use them in the future.

They did an outstanding job. They power washed the entire house, masked the windows the first day. They did the entire paint job (2 coats) the second day. They came back a few days later and touched up a few spots they had missed. Very minor.

EVERY DETAIL IS LEFT IN PERFECT SHAPE. TOP QUALITY. EXCELLENT SUGGESTION ON COLOR AND MATCHES IN TRIM. ALWAYS USES TOP QUALITY KELLY MOORE PAINT. SURFACES ARE CLEANED, PRIMED AND APPROPRIATE COATS ARE APPLIED. ONE PAINTING BY THESE GUYS IS GOOD FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. TOP NOTCH PEOPLE. REAL QUALITY!
