Computer Handyman

He was able to come out to my house to fix the issue with my computer. He was able to identify the problem quickly. He ended up buying the new hard drive for me and installing it on the computer for me. He was great to work with and he was able to get the computer back to me in a timely manner.

He came to my home Friday evening at the time he said he would be here. He worked with the computer to see if it could be fixed on sight but was afraid that it would have to have the hard drive wiped clean. He back-up up all my files and made a second copy for me to keep. He took my computer with him and said that he would have it ready Sunday. He called on Sunday and said that it was a little more involved that he originally thought but was sure that it was not the hard drive itself but the operating system which meant that no new hardware would be necessary.He called me Tuesday to see if he could return the fixed computer that evening. When he arrived he gave me a run down of all the problems he ran into, one of which was that the operating system disc I had was not working and that he reinstalled one of his own which was actually an upgrade from what I had. I asked him if he could install a new modem that I had received from Comcast that day while he was here. Even though it was supposed to be a self installable modem it took about two hours between being on hold which they never came back to him and finally calling an associate of his and between him, his associate and the associates boss they finally got it hooked up. He had the patience of Job. With all the hours and hours I'm sure he put in on this repair, and never giving up, I couldn't recommend anyone better. His price was amazing and his professionalism is something we seldom see in the service businesses today.

Ramy Thelmat is really good. He was referred to me by a relative. He does the work on a part-time basis. He does house calls as he doesn’t have a shop. He doesn’t charge a lot and he is very conscientious. He will speak in English to you, which I think is important. He will let you take notes and he will walk you through it. He feels guilty if he solves the problem in less than the one hour time that he says it would take. He is really good. He has done work on Saturday for me. He has come out on afternoons. The people I have referred him to have thanked me for it. He does computer repair and programming. The last time I used him, he charged $45 an hour, which I think is more than reasonable. He has corporate clients too. He is really good and bright. He is a people person. He has the patience to explain things to me. I will use him again in the future.
