Called Thursday night when our air conditioner stopped working, message said the hours were 7 a.m to 4 p.m.  
Called the next morning after 7 and was told just the "guys" were there at 7 and the scheduling wasn't done until about 8:15.  
I called back at 8:15 and told them I wanted to see if they could come out today as I did not want to go all Labor Day weekend without air conditioning.  I was told they could come out between 1 and 2 p.m.  I got a call from the tech around 1 p.m. saying he was running about 30 minutes late.  Then he called again at 2:30 and said it would be another 20 minutes, he was close by.  He finally showed up at 4:10 and said it was our capacitor but that the office was closed and they couldn't get until Tuesday!!!  Seems like something they should carry on their trucks and here we are with NO a/c all weekend.  I would have called another company if they would have just been up front and told me they couldn't get out here in time.    I have had this company install our air conditioner and heater, and have spent thousands with them...this is horrible customer service, especially for existing (not anymore tho) customers.

"Sorry for delayed response. Logging on here for the first time, per the suggestion of an Angie's List rep. In researching this service call, I find that our last scheduled appointment with this customer was on 5/22/12. I do not have record in either the appointment software or our accounting software for a service call on Thursday 8/28/14. However, this customer IS one of our customers. We installed an air conditioner and coil for her in 2006 - with various service calls over the years since then. MY GUESS is, the fact that she does not show up in the system for 8/28/14 tells me, if she called us, that we DID do our very best to accommodate her with a 'rush' service call, fitting her into our day where we could get her in (not actually scheduling a time). We commonly try do this for our existing customers to provide them with faster service. We cannot bump other customers off the schedule, therefore, we tried to fit her in to an already full schedule, as time allowed. Unfortunately, the 'already scheduled calls' must have took longer than expected, preventing us from getting to her sooner (we maintain contact with the customer to let them know our ETA when this happens). It looks like we DID eventually make it to her home towards the end of the day, per Ms. Berro. Capacitors are commonly stocked on our service vans, however it's a popular part and it IS possible we ran out of our supply of capacitors that day. The Big Air office would have been open - we work until the work is done. However, the 'supply houses' close at 5pm and stay closed on holiday weekends. Since Ms. Berro does not show up in our system for 8/28/14, we also did not charge her for this diagnostic call since we couldn't help her. We're sorry we were unable to help Ms. Berro at that time. Sometimes the situation is beyond our control, especially on warm days near a holiday. We always do the best we can and we always try to take care of customers in a prompt manner. Customer service and a happy customer is our top priority."

I got 4 bids for installing a new furnace and accepted the one from Big Air because they were, by far, the lowest bidder and they would install a Trane furnace, which is the brand I wanted because I did some research and Trane was one of the best. A crew of 3 workers came on the date and time they promised and went right to work and completed the entire job by 4:30 PM, which was a little earlier than they promised. Not only was I satisfied with their work, but they did a lot of little extra things like caulk the wood stand the furnace stood on in order to keep the system well-sealed. They also blocked an area just inside the cold air return where the builder of the house forgot to enclose. Some heat had been escaping during transfer to the duct work. This had been going on during the whole time I have lived here (27 years). They did some other extra things that helped save energy, so I was 100% satisfied. All personnel in the work crew, plus Mr. Michael Santa Maria, the company president, who came over to give me their bid, were very helpful and professional and answered all my questions. I also need to mention, but I originally I went to Home Depot on another matter when I was helped by a floor man to get what I needed. I mentioned that I needed a furnace and did Home Depot do such a thing? I had gone to Lowe's and they had no one to install a new furnace. The floor worker, Brandon Marriott, gave me his business card and said someone would be contacting me soon about a bid. In a day or two I got a call from Mr. Santa Maria, and the rest is history. Perhaps having Home Depot involved in the job kept the price lower than all the others I contacted. I definitely would refer anybody to Big Air as they were super.

The service technicians should up on time and went straight to work. They finished the work ahead of schedule and did a great job of cleaninng up the work area after they had completed.The new A/C unit works great and we could not be happier with the work preformed.

Mike, estimator/salesman/coordinator, was knowledgeable, informative and accessible throughout the job and afterwards. He had time to discuss my concerns, long after Big Air had my money. An earlier bidder strongly recommended replacing the ductwork. The estimate for that work was higher than the installed cost of the furnace. Mike didn't believe that my ductwork needed replacing, just some joint repairs, thus saving me a lot of $. The two young technicians who performed the work seemed very professional and efficiently completed the job within less than a day. The office staffer should also recieve credit. Within a couple of days, I received the permit and clear instructions to call for an inspection by the City of Concord. Yep, I recommend Big Air.

After several false starts talking to other companies, it was a relief to talk to Big Air Heating and Air Conditioning. They were friendly, knew what was wanted and arranged to come out quickly. Their technician was punctual, professional and friendly, doing a thorough job of checking each of the four heaters for safety. I would definitely use Big Air Heating and Air Conditioning again.

The estimator came out promptly at the appointment time (a bit of a shock, given the bad experiences I have had with people coming to the house to do work), and was very informative and professional. He did a thorough inspection, and gave me an estimate for the work. I agreed; it was about as much as I had expected. The day of the install, the guys actually were a few minutes early, so more points for being on time. They did a great job, a really professional install, and thoroughly tested all the ducting as well. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Overall, it was a great experience.
