This person ruined my deck. Instead of a clear stain to highlight the Ipe wood, they used a solid colored stain. He changed the stain at the last second and did not give me any choice. Now I am going to need to spend thousands to remove the horrible work they did. Their prep work was insufficient and sloppy. Overall I think this company should only be used for house painting- they are completely incompetent for deck work. I am very angry at this company. They had no business bidding on a deck job when they have NO CLUE on how to treat wood. I would not be surprised if they actually have no business license-

Denys and his team were excellent to work with. Very professional and friendly. So thorough and job was completely perfect. We are so pleased with the cost, the process and the results. We will definitely use them when we are ready to paint inside our home too. I already recommended them to a friend as well!! 5 star rating earned and well derserved!!!

We gave this team the highest rating because they provided excellent outcomes on an exterior house staining/painting project in Orinda. The target was a 3-story Midcentury Modern house with vertical wood siding. There were challenges of uneven coloring and hard-to-reach places. The team was on time, courteous, and communicative. They were on time and cleaned up before leaving each afternoon. Denys Benavides also helped us with color selection and the chosen colors turned out beyond our expectations. We highly recommend this team.

Denys was very professional and easy to communicate with,. Our house required a lot of prep due to sun damage. His prep people were very diligent with the scraping, sanding and priming. The painters were careful and were patient with us when we had questions. They cleaned up before they left each day. The finished product is beautiful...just what we hoped for. We heartily recommend him.

Benavides Painting tackeled a tough job for me, and in the end I was very happy. A new paint job was long overdue on a rental property. The prep work was extensive due to a great deal of peeling paint which needed to be removed and sanded before painting. I came to the property to check out the work, and was not satisfied with the prep work. A final coat had been applied, but I could see the layers of old paint underneath the new paint. I canned Denys immediately and told him the prep work was insufficient and that I could see that layers of old paint had not been sufficiently scraped and sanded. I stress - it was a BIG job to remove all the peeling paint. To my great satisfaction, he had one of him employees go to my home and work on Saturday to make it right. The improvement was huge, and I am very satisfied with the work. I was also very happy with the clean up job. All the peeled paint was removed and things were left tidy. An exterior light fixture was overlooked and not reinstalled, so I texted Denys and he came the same day and reinstalled it himself. Not only is Denys a very pleasant person, but his price are reasonable. I recommend Benavides painting!

Denys, the owner was very responsive. He replied quickly to any emails and questions I had. He and his crew painted the exterior of our home. We were pleased and then had them paint our wrought iron fence. He applied two coats which was not in the original quote for the fence.

He did a great job paining the interior of my house with his crew. He was professional, polite, and available 24/7.

We had the exterior, stucco and trim, painted on our 2 story house. Denys came to our house and gave us a bid. We are very fortunate to have hired Benavides Painting for our project. Denys and his right hand man, Cruz, did a fantastic job. Work was scheduled and completed on time. They were both skilled and professional as well as personable. Our house has never looked better!!! Painted exterior of home and some of the interior. They repaired some earthquake damage I had. They did excellent work.

Denys and his team were great and very accommodating as we made some last minute changes to things. The quality of the work was great and the edges/trim are sharp. There is a bit of spot cleanup that was missed but honestly expected from a major paint project. Would recommend and hire again!

Deyns Benavides and his team did everything requested in a professional, timely way. His communications were excellent and he was always available either by phone, email or text. The exterior of our home looks great and I wholeheartedly recommend him.

The popcorn ceiling was removed and all ceilings in the home were texturized and painted. Think everyone needs to understand this is a very messy job and undertaking. The crew was careful with moving furniture and making sure everything was covered. Deny's and his crew are very thorough and did a good job. The ceilings look great!

Did a good job and was done on time. staff was curtious. Only complaints is they could do a better job on clean up everyday, instead of waiting until the last day to do one big clean up. When they cleaned there brushes and paint buckets, they left a mess in our front yard. Over all, we are happy with the quality of work and the end result, with the exception of our front yard.
