APRONSTRINGS PET SITTING

EXCELLENT! One of the litter scoops broke and Apronstrings replaced it. Cats were in great shape when we got back. They weren't stressed at all. Apronstrings even swept my back yard walkway, above and beyond the call of duty! Will definitely be calling them again!

Very smoothly. I was leery to have strangers in my house and to take of my group of pets, but they were very knowledgeable about different animals and their needs and conducted themselves in a professional manor. They have earned my trust to use them again.

Excellent service and reasonable price. I had a very last minute trip planned and called a few pet sitting services. Kim (Kimberly Tank) responded very quickly and she was very thorough from start to end. I was ecstatic that they were even available because my request was also during a holiday (Thanksgiving). She even brought the lock box (an additional $15) which i didn't mind paying because I didn't have time to go buy one. She also left a welcome home card and that was a very nice touch. I trusted her because of the excellent reviews from Angie's List, and I was very happy with the service, and so was my cat. Thank you, Kim!

So I contacted Apron Strings to walk my 3 dogs for a full hour twice a week. Normally they charge $25 for a half hour.
At $45 a walk I thought that a little high. So I went to Rover.com. For me, a mistake. I got a guy that only lasted about a month, and I found out that he was skimping on the walks. So I went back to Apron Strings. Their walker Brooke has been doing wonderful by my dogs! She not only walks them for EXACTLY a full hour, but she is always on time, and even the neighbors commented on how good she is with the dogs. I decided to go w/Apronstrings because they are reliable, dependable, and flexible.

It was so nice to leave kitties for prolonged time away for family illness in Kim's capable and kind hands.

She does so many other things to protect your house while you are gone that it is quite wonderful.   Kitties were clearly happy and enjoyed their "vacation".   I'm very grateful and recommend highly

Everything went extremely well.  My dog was well taken care of and he is not used to being taken care of by "strangers". He was relaxed when I got home-not agitated or nervous. I felt extremely comfortable about leaving him in the care of the Apronstrings  "walker". When our schedule had to suddenly change due to a sickness, Apronstrings responded quicky & efficiently. This is a seemingly well-run business. I do not easily hand my house key over to anyone, yet  I had complete confidence in the individual walker & the company itself. I would strongly recommend them, and plan to use them always in the future myself.

We'd had what we felt was a decline in attentiveness from our long-time cat sitter and I put out a request for recommendations to my neighbors via Nextdoor.com.  Kim Tank was recommended from Apronstrings and I looked up reviews on Angie's List, emailed for a quote and scheduled pet sitting for our two cats.
Trevor came and met the cats and picked up a key.  He asked about housesitting needs, not just cat care, which I hadn't thought to consider but greatly appreciated. Trevor brought in our mail daily and watered a few plants in addition to giving the cats water, keeping their food full, and scooping their litter box.
I understand from Trevor that the cats were very shy and didn't get much of the benefit of human contact while we were out of town, but they were much less anti-social than they had been in the past when we would come home, which was one of the reasons we felt like it might be time for a switch in cat sitters - we were concerned that they weren't interacting with anyone enough while we were gone and there had been behavioral problems surfacing when we returned home with our previous long-time sitter.  
One of the things that we really noticed was that the house didn't smell at all like cat box in the slightest bit when we came home.  *That* is a very, very nice welcome home after a long vacation.

They did great.

I have been using Apronstrings' services since before I have even moved to Pleasant Hill.  I found them on Angie's list and they were very helpful while looking for a place to stay in Aug 2012. 
I have asked them to look after my fids since then on every occasion when I was traveling, even if it was for a weekend or 3 weeks. 
I shall always use their services while available and will recommend them to anybody who has animals they love.  Kim and Howard are always professional and leave the nicest little cards after every occasion.

Of course we were not here when Kim came but all indications are that she performed all services that we expected. Our kitties were in good shape when we returned.

The service is excellent.  they are always on time and thorough.  I have always been very happy with their services.

They were a little slow in answering emails during this time period, but they did respond eventually.  Furthermore, the cats were well-fed and healthy when I returned.

Apronstrings walk my dog on weekdays, 1/2 hour/walk.  They leave notes every day to let me know how things went.  I've been using them for almost 2 months, and am happy with them.  Rocket seems happy as well.

We have been using Apron Strings for years and as always great service. They came every day without fail and helped us avoid some of the guilt in leaving our cat. They are reliable and extremely responsive by either email or phone. Strongly recommended!

I was extremely happy with their service.  I used to board my cat at the vet's each year, but this time I used Apronstrings.  The difference in my cat's personality upon my return was amazing.  She would usually hide after being brought back home from boarding but now she was interactive and playful. Also, the home itself looked so nicely kept up and clean around the litter box and food area.  The mail was organized.  Kim even offered to groom my cat but I declined since it is a real struggle to groom her.  Upon meeting Kim, I found her to be not only a very nice person but it was  apparent that she heads a tightly run professional business.  I was very comfortable handing over the key to my home. Apronstrings has been in existence for quite some time plus Kim has a veterinary background.    I would definitely use their service again for my next vacation.  My vet's office told me they have been recommending Kim for years and I can see why.

Apronstrings bent over backwards to meet my demanding schedule. Having just moved to the area, I got called onto a series of week long work trips on short notice. They went out of their way to ensure my cat would be cared for.

Kim is obviously very experienced and professional. We scheduled a "meet and greet" prior to the actual vacation where she could receive instructions and get details. She had questions to better understand my cat's habit and personality, which were appreciated, and she made observations and comments based on experiences petsitting that were helpful and made me know she pays attention to detail. She has her own check list of information to review, as well as policies, key drop-off/return, and available payment options so there is clarity as to expectations. The best part is that Kim was willing to provide me updates on my cat and relieve my anxiety while I was on vacation. I would definately use her again or recommend her service to someone.

Smoothly!

I was to be gone for a month in July. A friend would be staying at my home during the month except for the second week, so I had to get cat-sitters. Angie's list had the offer just by coincidence.
The owner couple both came, met the cats, and I showed them what I wanted done. I also provided detailed instructions. To my knowledge all went well, and my house sitter did not report anything unusual.
I would definitely recommend them based on my experience. They were very nice and thorough in their appraisal of what needed to be done.

I was new to the area and found Apronstrings through Angie's list.  What a nice surprise was it dealing with Howard and Kim!  They were both so helpful in first helping me find a place within their service area and then taking care of my fids (Feathered and Furry kids) for 10 entire days.  The initial meeting and planning went well and I felt very comfortable with Kim from the start.  I got little update emails almost every day and  felt comforted that they were all talking to her, which made me enjoy my trip more. 
I shall definitely use their services again in the near future as I feel so much more comfortable having the fids at home rather than boarding them somewhere unfamiliar.

I have been using them for almost 4 years when I am on vacation and they are great. Some of my pets required extra care like medicine or special food preparation instructions and it always went without any problems. My pets are calm and relaxed when I am back and seem to be good taken care of. Kim, the  owner has been doing all visits, and once Howard her husband and co-owner, so I can speak only for their quality of service, and not of their other employees.

Been with them for several years now and they are awesome. Very responsive and dependable. I appreciate what they do for us!
