The person they sent came on time, disassembled our shower temperature control valve and said he could not do the job. He claimed he needed to enter the wall from the opposite side in our closet, where we already have an access point. He reassembled it without noting any of the identifying numbers on the rough valve and did not take pictures. Thus, he did nothing of value and would not accept a compromise of 1/2 so I paid him the entire one hour charge of $175 to stop the conversation. I had to research it myself and had another plumber look at it. We determined it was a Graff and the part numbers for the rough valve and temperature cartridge. We purchased the part and he installed it in 90 minutes and DID NOT require access from the closet which I thought was the case from the beginning (only the temperature cartridge needed to be replace and that can be done from the shower side). I was totally pleased with the plumber who finally DID the job.

"Don't forget to mentioned that I spend 2hr in trying to fixed and also that was late to get the parts ( stores was closed talking that real plumbing stores ) and that your wife said the brand of the valve at the end of the job and last thing I recommended to replaced the valves as fast results for that reason you need open wall on the back in this case it's your. Closed and don't forget to you put a stop payment on the check that you agree to pay 1hr for the time that I spend in your old valve , have a great day"

I would like to update my review from before. I would not recommend hiring JP. I had to call him back to fix work he completed. And he also did not finish all work he was paid to do. I have had to hire someone else to finish the job, this costing even more to complete it all.

Josue was honest and personable and did a good job with the simple repair. Our initial job was to replace the sink and faucet and we'd given him a deposit. Then we had second thoughts (couldn't really afford it at this time) and asked him to cancel the order. He agreed to make some minor repairs instead and never cashed the deposit check. We appreciate his honesty.
