I initially hired Airtight Construction to replace my roof around August of 2020. Once airtight construction started working on the roof they informed me it was going to cost more. I was never given an estimate or a contract for the additional work. To date still no bill, though they ask for money continuously. While we are waiting for a roof inspection they started a kitchen remodel around sept. 2020. They removed my kitchen cabinets, replaced a few windows and did some electrical work. I began to worry about the work being done and called the city of Martinez for an inspection. They said some of the work Airtight Construction had done needed to be fixed. Things like Electrical Panel, the windows all needed to be removed because there was no sheeting. There are structural questions about how some of the beams they installed are going to be supported.. I now know no permits were pulled for the kitchen remodel,. though I asked for permits several times. I am now having to spend more money to hire new contractors to complete the job.

ATC was very responsive to our request for service and scheduled our work to be done as soon as possible. The cost seemed a bit pricey, but the quality of the work was excellent.

Bob Jones from Airtight showed up on a cold rainy day and did an incorrect hot tar patch on a white foam roof. We learned this after having a professional inspector check his work. Also after multiple requests we could never get a receipt from Bob even though he was fully paid in good faith. We now have to find another roofer to undo Bobs work and repair the roof the correct way.

I was quoted $1200 if the roof leak was detected by the vents but if not they would work down from there and charge $1800 total. They visually inspected the vent area and determined tats was not the source of the leak. The then proceeded to an area below and started to remove tiles . They found the leak area in about 15 minutes and completed the repair in about 1 1/2 hours. I thought the job would be a lot less than $1800 since they did no work on the vent area. $1800 for an 1 1/2 hour job doesnâ t seem right but it's my fault for not seeking other estimates.

ATC was very responsive and came out and fixed our problem. Very pleased with the work and the professionalism of the employees.

Airtight came within two hours after I call and got the roof fixed before the storm came.

ATC did not show up for scheduled appt. but did arrive exactly on time at rescheduled appt. No call so I had to try to contact & reschedule with several unanswered calls & messages. Owner Bob was very apologetic when contact was finally made. Rescheduled appt. & ATC showed up slightly early. Work was completed satisfactorily. Doug was in charge of work & was friendly, professional & knowledgeable. He took pictures, explained situation, & how ATC would correct the gutter problem. Price was fair, maybe slightly high for what was completed due to its minimum charge, but all in all I was satisfied with the work & professionalism by ATC owner & employees. Completed job gave me confidence that roof & gutters would withstand upcoming rains, which was definitely "value" in my mind. Despite initial scheduling snafu, I would recommend ATC to others.

While the work was fine, the communication between sales rep, installers and myself needs improvement. I stayed home, but had to call two times the day they were supposed to show up. no one seemed to know what happened, but they did not show up. Rescheduled for the next 2-days. Some issues with downspout connections and leaf guards should have been brought to my attention before 5 pm on a friday-they have offered to come back and resolve them, so that is good. Pleased with the price/quality.

we needed a repair. they came out quickly and fixed what needed to be done, took pictures so I didn't have to get on the roof and then pointed out that there was an issue with my shingles that wont effect them but I should contact the maker and told me how to do this. they cleaned up everything and was finished quickly. i would recommend them to everyone.

He has been my contractor for number of years. He does a great, quality work and his workers are very good.

Not only did this contractor do the work I wanted, he noted other problems related not only to the the work at hand but also to some rot on the roof and pointed out a problem and possible fix for the entry step and repaired all. The siding was replaced and the fixes were done in 4 days. It was clean; they tidied up daily before leaving, let me know what to expect next, and listened to all my concerns and responded appropriately. I cant say enough positive things about Airtight Construction; Bob, Doug and the crew did an exemplary job and I would hire them for further work in a hot second.

Work was done quickly and clean up was good. Got "full maintenance" work done on tile roof. Still waiting to see if leak got fixed when it rains, but they said they found the leak and repaired it, so we will see. otherwise would recommend to others. Could be faster and more timely with email communications

ATC is very professional, friendly and did a great job on my roof maintenance. Bob gave me a detailed estimate for the maintenance along with quote for when I re-roof in a few more years that include several roofing options. Works was completed and they left no trace. Would recommend them to anyone.
