The installation was okay. Mike had to come out a few times because he was coordinating with other tradesmen. He was punctual the first time. He was never punctual again. When it rained we had problems with the line he installed. He came out once to fix it. The next time it went out I hired another guy to fix it. What the second guy found was the line had a gap in the romex protection were it went into the box and that was shorting out against the junction box when it got wet. Mike had mentioned this but apparently he did not fix it. The second guy also found that the box Mike installed was a used box and not in good condition. It had extra holes punched out where they should not have been removed. ie: along the top of the box where moisture could get in. The box also did not have a cover plate installed and the wire nuts were left facing in a way that water could and did get into them. The sorry part is, this was the EASY part of the whole job. The second guy (that fixed it) charged me $95.00.
Description of Work: Mike ran a dedicated line from one distant corner of the house, through the garage, under a deck and then under the house floor, through a block wall and over to where he installed a new in-floor outlet at the other corner of the house. it was a tough location to get to but he got there. I think he had to dig out a bit of the dirt under the house to squeeze into the location. He also added some new outlets and a switch to an existing line.
