He was contracted to trim the top and sides only of ficus trees surrounding pool so that leaves did not fall into pool. he was also contracted to trim two small ficus trees in front. Contractor left to view another job and his worker then cut off about five feet of ficus branches on the bottom and exposed our backyard to next door neighbors. he also cut our hibiscus plants literally in half. The backyard lost all of its ambiance as the lagoon look was gone. This will take at least two years to grow back and any plans for selling are now lost at this time.
When contractor came back (after I called him) he was appalled at what his worker did to our trees, but did nothing!
Later, (when I got over my shock) about four o'clock I went back out to offer the worker a drink of water. When I opened our outdoor refrigerator I noticed a beer was taken. I went around the side of my house and saw the worker tipping the beer can to his mouth and then he tried to hide the can, but I asked him what it was and he told me it was only one. I told him it was stealing! When the contractor came back I told him and he did nothing! NOTHING! I put the can in a plastic bag in the event I ever had to prove who touched this!)
They did remove the tree and that was a respectable job, but nothing can make up for what they did to our back yard.
I do not recommend them to anyone for any reason. the contractor did not act responsible and no action was taken to punish the worker for al of his actions that day. In closing, I might add, he was supposed to return that Saturday morning but never showed up and I have not seen him since! My back yard was ruined and I am considering legal action for damages! BEWARE!!!!!
