The quality of the work was very good.  The main problem that we had with this contractor was that a piece of wood that was removed, was replaced with one where the color did not match.  We asked about this and he said he would try to find a matching piece, after he had asked my wife to look for it for him.  He took weeks to "find" a matching piece and then completed the job.  If not for this last little piece of mismatched wood, the overall experience would have been almost perfect, but my wife and I really felt like he was putting us off when it came to finding this last piece of wood.

Other than that, Pat was a very nice and honest person to work with.  Just wish we didn't have that last mismatch problem happen and the subsequent delay in finishing the work, as it left us wondering about using him for future work.

Dan Woodward seems very competent. He also seems extremely trustworthy. I had no hesitation allowing him inside my house, around my family, etc. Punctuality is his biggest shortcoming. We used him for two projects and both times he took three times longer to complete the job than he initially told us. He also had a tendency to show up late. With this being said, in the end we were happy with his work when it was finally finished. The best praise I can offer is that he seems like a good person; respectful, and honest.
