Petsmart

When I got her home she immediately had water diarrhea. She is now on the fifth day and her system is starting to getting better. She hasn't been eating. I haven't been able to sleep because the first 24 hours she wasn't able to go more than two hours without going to the restroom. They told me when I picked her up that everything was fine. That could not have been true as she immediately had to be outside. Her rectum was so swollen and red and it was painful. You couldn't touch her without her screaming which indicates that she was sick for some time. When I called in to see why she came home the way she did. It seemed like she had been drugged. She screamed whenever she bumped into anything. She flinches every time you go to touch her. I called to see what had happened and I have called multiple times. I have never received a return phone call. I was told that they did not play with her even though they said that they had played with her. They also expressed her anal glands and it's in the system to not do that and they did it anyway. I called to have them call me back to explain why they had did that and no one has called me back. It has been five days and she still is sick. There still has not been a phone call. There was no phone call while I was gone to tell me that she was sick. For her to be as sick as she was when I got her home, she would have had to be as sick there. I took my own food for her. I took everything for her. I paid for someone to be with her twice a day. I told them that if she was demonstrating any stress to not let her be with any of the other dogs. They told me that she was with the other dogs for about four hours and she is usually the dog around the house. We talked about her being around the other dogs for maybe 30 minutes. They didn't follow anything that we had talked about. She was so sick when she got home that she could barely walk. She acted like she had just come out of surgery or something. I had read so many good things about them and this was terrible. She had to have been sick for quite some time before I got her. I am worried that she is going to have permanent problems from how bad it was. She went in healthy and fine. There were no problems when she went in. There is no excuse for this as I usually take her here for her grooming and for her medical checkups. There was barely any documentation regarding her stay there even though she was there for three and a half days.

I have my Pomeranian groomed there all the time. My dog is spoiled rotten and I had huge anxiety about boarding him. The staff was encouraging and made notes about my concerns. When I returned, Foxy had a report card. Much to my surprise, he was social, interactive and "played well with others". I took his normal food which I highly recommend. Well, Foxy is booked in for another stay in a few weeks. For me, this was a wonderful experience and I think Foxy liked it too.

My dog had a big scratch underneath on the belly. It looked like the width of the razor that they use, it could not have been from her paw! I picked her up and the girl told me that she had scratched herself. Well when I got her home and examined her it was no scratch from her paw! I was very upset that she lied to me, in the past I liked her and trusted her!

Provided an evaluation of my dog's BM's, play behavior, and amount he ate.

The staff was wonderful; they were pleasant and well informed. The rates and variety of services are great and the fact that they are open from 7 am to 7 pm makes it very convenient to board our pets. I will use PetSmart as my primary pet resort.

Changed to Petsmart because Elaine Pet Resort's quality of care is horrible. After 10 years of using Elaine's the quality of service is HORRIBLE.

Overall, they have been really well. They give you this really cute report card after your dog stayed with them. They tell you how your dog did. They enjoy working with the dogs. I am very satisfied with their services.
