"We find this poor review of our team both inaccurate and unfortunate. We completed termite control service for this client Oct. 28, 2016. Following completion of the work this individual posted a very positive review about our company, our work and our customer service. Under the terms of our contract he was entitled to a follow-up inspection any time during the following year on his request. This contract is renewable upon payment of a renewal premium, and our normal business practice includes the mailing of letters before and after the renewal date reminding the client of this option. His contract expired Oct. 28, 2017 with no contact from him. On Jan. 4, 2018, over two months after his contract expired and in response to our call regarding his cancelled contract, he called our office demanding a free inspection. He clearly stated that he had no intention of renewing the contract. Because his contract had expired his right to free inspections had expired. Further, his demeanor and choice of language toward our office staff did not encourage us to provide him with any further services. Nevertheless, following his call we decided that, because of our reputation for excellent service, we would provide him the requested inspection as a good-will gesture. We called him back within the hour, but he did not answer. We left a message that if he would call for an appointment we would provide the requested inspection. This was on January fourth of this year. He did not call back, nor have we had any further contact from him since that date. At no point has he indicated there was any problem with the work we did for him. His previous positive review of our company reflects the very reason we are the most highly rated Fresno/Clovis termite and pest control service provider on Angie's List. We make every possible effort to care for our customers' needs and we have received Angie's List Super Service Awards every year since 2012."
"I am sorry to learn of the problem with this fumigation. We receive very few complaints regarding our fumigation company (which is why we choose to use them). We did this job 7 months ago and this is the first I have heard of the problem. I was contacted by the owner Doug through messaging on Angies's list Sunday, with a message advising i would get a call Monday morning by 8am. Doug actually called me at 7:55am. I was very pleased already with his promptness. He made an appointment for me to meet with him at the rental house the next day (Tuesday). Tuesday came and I recieved what I thought was a very fair estimate...no need to wait around for the "others" to contact me for a quote. I signed a contract that day and the termite service commenced by that Thursday. Doug and his crew (I believe his son Matt Morse does the termite treatment. Attention to detail and customer service doesn't stop short with Doug) were courteous, professional, thorough and nice enough to place reminder calls. I was so pleased that I asked about regular service at my new residence.
Upon the first regular pest control treatment, the technician gave me a reminder call and was early to the appointment which worked out GREAT as we were about to head out of town. I told him of the problems/concerns (we were infested with black widows on the outside and tiny spiders on the inside. Kurt was extremely patient with our requests and tended to our concerns with no problems...being patient while we moved the dogs inside vs outside depending on where he was spraying. He sprayed our back shed at our request and also the garage. He was timely, polite and thorough.
We have now had two regular services. Kurt was so kind as to call with a reminder of his forthcoming visit (the visit was a Monday so he took the time to call on a SUNDAY...that's dedication to customer service!). This was such a great touch because we need to know about visitors so our German Shepherd can be placed in the house for the day as she has a very mennacing bark and doesn't take kindly to strangers entering the back yard.
Overall, I haven't experienced this kind of customer service in a very long time, even from Nordstroms...the customer service superstar. And...it's from a pest control company...who'd have thunk it? I firmly recommend Morse Termite & Pest Control to anyone.
