After a short time I realized they we not going to give me a follow up call to see if I got the estimate or what I thought of it.
It was my assumption that they were not that interested in giving a competitive bid.
"I am very saddened to read this review. Our estimates are usually right in the middle, according to the feedback we receive. As I pulled the original quote from our system, I see a pretty big error in pricing which was not caught by me at the time. I regret not following up and could have caught the computer error if we had found the time to follow up with the member. I will be sorry about this member's quote forever, but I have learned a valuable lesson. We have always tried not to bother people after receiving our estimates, as we don't want them to feel pressured to make a decision. From now on, we will call all of our potential customers just to make sure they received our quote and ask if they have any questions. Hopefully they will understand the follow-up. We should have been doing that always...I am actually grateful to have this pointed out to me, as we will do our best to become a better company for it. I'm very sorry..hope you accept my sincere apology."
