I could not have been more pleased. It was a several hour job but all three guys were extremely professional, friendly and careful with my belongings. They made sure tarps were down to protect carpets & hardwood floors, very cautious when working near my TV. Cleaned up every speck of dust when they were done! I had some other questions about some future possibilities (new lighting & exhaust fan where none currently exist) and they have me several suggestions/options with the different cost effects. These guys are awesome! I will definitely be using them for any electrical work I need done! Highly recommend!!

John fixed it in 10 minutes once the bad one was identified. He explained everything he was doing so I understood, which was fantastic. I have some additional work to be done in a month or so as we are remodeling part of our kitchen and John will be doing the work for us then. I HIGHLY recommend John Bowen and Household Electric.

The crew was punctual, completed the work on time, and for less cost than the original estimate.  After the job, when the spa arrived, the pigtail wire was a little bit too short.  However, within a couple of days, they came out and installed a new wire and hooked it up to the spa, no additional charge.  Prior to the work, the owner came over to prepare an estimate, and he spent some time explaining the electrical system in my new home, and let me know I had more room for expansion in my main panel than I thought I had.  He also offered solutions and options for other electrical projects that I have planned, instead of finding problems and roadblocks.  Definitely would utilize them again.

John installed 3 ceiling fans in my house. Two in bedrooms, and one in the living room. The bedroom fan brackets needed to be reinforced in the the attic, and the living room didn't even have a light fixture, so he had to cut a hole in the ceiling, and it looks perfect. They did an excellent job. Very professional and took the the time to explain everything they were going to do. Extremely satisfied with the job that was done. John even charged me LESS than he quoted to do the installations. I would definitely use him again, and I strongly recommend Household Electric.

Everything went very smoothly. They returned my first call promptly, scheduled a visit within a week, found the problem, ordered parts and returned to complete the Kobe about a week later. Both gentlemen who worked on the job were very professional and friendly. I will certainly call them next time I need an electrician.

Came when promised. A bit earlier, in fact. Understood my little jobs immediately. Went to work quickly. Cleaned up thoroughly. Gave some useful advice on our kitchen lighting - but not in such a way as to make me think they were trying to push me into getting more work. The men were pleasant, professional, and friendly. It was a very good experience.

We are doing a kitchen remodel and called Household electric for an estimate to fix a ceiling fixture and add an electrical outlet required for a new gas cooktop. John Bowen arrived on time for our estimate appointment and was very friendly and professional. After looking at our kitchen and hearing our complaints about the quality of light, John recommended recessed LED lighting. The quoted price was reasonable so we agreed to have him install the new lighting along with the other items we needed.
John and his crew, Troy and Ryan, showed up on time on install day and did a wonderful job. They completed the work much faster than anticipated. All work looks to be of the highest quality. The recessed lighting looks and works perfectly.
This is the only electrician I will use or recommend from now on.

A couple times we have had items for him to install (hanging light, ceiling fan) and other times he has come out with all of the items needed, such as can lights, dimmers and a bathroom exhaust fan.

We moved into a new home - new to us - but older and updated. Beautiful home, but discovered several and quot;mysteryand quot; switches and dead sockets, and needed vent fan in master bath. I had preconceived ideas about the fan. John suggested another better product (a silent and more powerful fan, at a good price) and different controls. Wow! Are we glad we took his suggestion! We're extremely satisfied with the fan and electronic timer switch he installed. Same day he and his assistant Troy examined the wiring that had been done during the remodelling and pointed out the deficiencies (someone earlier had done a really amateur job of wiring.)

Troy returned another day and further diagnosed wiring issues in kitchen, laundry room, patio, and garage. Resolved kitchen, patio, and laundry switching problems (3- and 4-way switches had been incorrectly installed by previous contractor) and diagnosed funky wiring of garage switches and wiring.

John always returns phone calls, always shows up at apponted time, does good work, is credible in his diagnosis of problems, and charges a fair price. Household Electric will always be my electrician of first choice. We have a lot of work for him to do.
