Cencal Pool Service

On 2/1/12 Brett Johns, owner & pool techician, quoted $30/month for "chem only" services, weekly on Thursdays "year-round, rain or shine". He said service would include clearing of sweeper & basket filters, but not skimming of water surface or brushing of pool wall/floor. In same conversation, raised quote to $35/mo. I repeated original price and services agreed upon to him and he confirmed. Agreement was oral, no contract was presented, nothing was signed. Service was good for first week, Feb. 3 . Did not show up on agreed day in 2nd week, came 1 day late (2/10). Did not clean basket filters 3rd week (2/16). I called & told him to pick up his last check - that I need someone more reliable. Check for 3 weeks service was left on porch, in envelope with a note detailing my complaint. He picked up his check while I was away, and left a note on my porch that said exactly, all in capital letters, "GO F. . . YOURSELF! READ THE NOTES B . . CH! - BRETT" written on the back of a form that looked to have been written in haste on 2/17, but was dated 2/16. Form was crumpled and thrown on porch. I am retaining that note in file in case of challenge. Will provide copy on request. 'Sorry. I can't recommend Brett Johns of Cen-Cal Pool Service. Unreliable, rude, profane, insulting.
