AQUA BRITE POOLS

My Appointment 10am-4pm made through first American home warranty Ethan shows up at 8:30pm. Says the repair is not covered by warranty but he can repair it for $3100. I asked him to put the estimate in writing and he said his company does not put anything in writing. It’s just verbal, take it or leave it. Whaaaaaatttt ???? LOL ! I told him that’s shady and he got upset with me telling me that he doesn’t like what I said. Haha. What a crook ! I looked at all the reviews they have on yelp. Wow!! All the one star reviews are accurate. These guys are total scams. Who doesn’t put their estimate in writing? I will be complaining to my home warranty. Watch out. Read all the reviews before you make an appointment with these guys.

They gave me a window between 8-5. I took the day off from work to wait. . He was in Sonora before he came to my place but did not inform me. He showed up at 4:45 PM with a kid in his car. I asked why he did not inform me that I was his last stop. Sonora is 2 hours from my house. I don't understand why he couldn't call me in the morning to tell me he would be there in the late afternoon since he must have known it would take at least 4 hours to go to Sonora and back to my house. I could have taken off a half day instead of the whole day. He said his phone didn't work there. I believe these guys are just collecting the service deductible from the home warranty company. Someone should have known that they had been there before for the same problem I reported and it was declined because of rodent damage which is not covered.

Andy was dispatched to our home through our Home Warranty company. He knew immediately what was wrong with our pump just by looking at it. Even though it wasn't a covered part on our policy, he went above and beyond for us to track down the company who installed the pool (which was done before we bought the property), and found out we were still covered under manufacturer's warranty! We will definitely be keeping them in mind if we need work done again in the future.

Not good at all. I'm still dealing with this issue and it's been almost a month. Aqua Brite was called out by my home warranty service and it was determined that I would need my pump replaced after inspecting a small leak coming from the motor. Justin, one of their 'techs', scheduled an appointment to come out the next day and preform the work. He informed me that I would have to pay an out of pocket cost of $250 that is not covered by the warrenty for modifications to the above ground plumbing. The next day came and Justin showed up late and unprepared. He didn't have any of the pvc piping he needed to redo the plumbing and told me he needed to reschedule. I was not happy about this, but I agreed to reschedule. The next day Justin came out and preformed the work. When I turned on the pump later that night (about 8hrs later), there were two different leaks coming from the piping he installed. I called them back out and he said he fixed the problem but the pipes are still leaking and the pump does not fill up all the way with water as it should. It drains all the water after it's turned off and it shouldn't do that, but Justin insisted that "this is the way this pump works." I have filed multiple complaints with Aqua Brite owner, Andre, and even requested that someone else come out and fix it but they are extremely hard to get ahold of. Very, very unprofessional company to work with. I have since filed complaints through my home warrenty company and had another company called Crystal Pool Service that is absolutely awesome. The guy came out late notice and gave me an in depth report of what was all wrong with everything to do with my pool system, as well as what was wrong with the work preformed by Aqua Pools.
