I have a homeowners warranty and needed A/C Services and A-1 was assigned to me by American Home Shield. Today when they went out there the lady phoned and said without paying them $75 additional to the $60 I already spent, their tech could not diagnose the problem. I proceeded to tell this woman I was a licensed Mechanical Contractor in Fresno for 30 years, and their business practices were unprofessional and illegal. About an hour later their "tech" sent the diagnosis report to my warranty company. Excuse me, I have this womans voice mail stating that without paying them $75 more the problem with this A/C unit could not be diagnosed. Consumer Beware, this contractor is not honest and uses unscrupulous business practices to rape homeowners out of unnecessary monies. In no uncertain terms, this company said their tech could not put their guages on my unit without my coils being cleaned. This is an absolute lie, and any legitimate contractor or the Contractor's Board could confirm this.
