Went very well. They put a filter in. They left me with lots of shiny tape so I can replace my filter on my own next time.

First,they are extremely professional.
We  asked them to install solar fans in our attic, that happened in January.  There was minimal disruption to our house, they worked efficiently and explained everything.
 Previously, we asked them to bid on a new heating system.  They came out to the house and gave us an estimate on the best heating system for our house within our budget.  We hired them.  Then we received a call setting a date for the work and a follow-up reminder call.  
They obviously knew what they were doing and were efficient and friendly.  They explained the new system, how it worked and how to use the new thermostat.  They were very considerate of our house and brought drop cloths and cleaned up after the work was done.  
They know what they are doing, they are considerate, fairly priced and very nice to work with.  I highly recommend them.

Called Performance Mechanical on Tuesday, 9/6/11, to give estimate/replace heat pump on one of my apartments. They arrived on the same day, gave estimate & had it faxed to me by 3 pm. The unit had to be ordered since it was replacing an old pump & had to be matched. It arrived on Friday & they had it installed the same day, finishing up the detail work on Monday, 9/12/11. Mr, Harris said it was supposed to be hot over the weekend, & they didn't want my tenants to be without AC. Great work & my tenants are delighted with the new (& more efficient) unit. I am delighted by the timely service & great work.

I called Phil and told him of the problem, he was here within hours, even though I'm at the far end of the county. He arrived before he estimated and went right to work. I found him to be that perfect balance of friendly/professional, not too chatty and not too stuffy. He found the problem and had the right part with him. My new thermostat was cooling the shop in about an hour from arrival! I would not hesitate to use Performance Mechanical again!
