 + -1 moreIt went really well over-all and our grandfather clock is chiming and running on time for the first time in many, many years. The man is a perfectionist, a craftsman from the old school and as one of the very few remaining clock and quot;doctorsand quot; in Los Angeles, he is very busy. He made his house call in mid-September before we went out of town for a month long trip. He took the works with him and said he'd have everything ready when we returned in mid-October. We told him we were in no hurry. He was not ready in October or November but he did come back the first week in December so we have the old clock chiming on the quarter hour and hour in time for the holidays. To be fair he did warn us he got very busy this time of year....but I gave him the and quot;Band quot; on punctuality instead of an and quot;Aand quot; because his schedule slid quite a bit. We feel the price was fair for the quality of the work.
Description of Work: Cleaned and tuned up the works of an Enfield grandfather clock.

 + -1 moreHe was very punctual, and charged a fair price. He had the clock back to me when he said he would. I would use him again. It works like new. He also came to the house to give an appraisal, and comes every other year to make sure everything is working well.
Description of Work: He took my grandfather clock in and did a complete re-do of the insides. It was a major repair.

 + -1 moreTOOK A LONG TIME, BUT THAT IS AS EXPECTED. DID A VERY GOOD JOB OF FIXING THE CLOCK AND THE CLOCK I BOUGHT WAS VERY NICE AS WELL. I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.
Description of Work: REPAIRED A CLOCK THAT WAS BROKEN THAT BELONGED TO MY FAMILY. ALSO I HAVE BOUGHT A CLOCK FROM THEM.
