I dropped the car off firs thing in the morning and was told it would be ready that same afternoon...It was! They called me during the day to let me know that their original diagnosis was correct and it was the steering pump that needed to be replaced. They also confirmed that the estimated price for the work was correct and might be a little less when the job was completed...It was!
I have used the Car Czar for a number of repairs on my car over the last several years and I have always received quality work and service. I recommend them to my family and friends without any worry that they won't receive the same excellent service that I have.
Do yourself a favor and call them first, you'll be glad you did.

They are a small shop but I always trust them and I've been going to them for probably 10 years now with my old car. I think they do a great job and they don't rip you off. They tell you the real story, that kind of things. They told me that it was really not worth fixing. It needed a new engine and so they said they could go ahead and do that but they didn't think it was worth it. He has a very minimal charge. I think they're very competitive with their price.

The Car Czar are very honest. We went in for a particular problem and they didn't find other things that they said we needed work on. That was one of the best things we liked about them. Also, the repair was very reasonably priced. They were very friendly and courteous.

They are always an A. They are my go to people for cars.

My car is extremely reliable, and I've never needed more than the standard maintenance items. The Car Czar people did a fine job. Their web site provides multiple coupons, with which I got an excellent price. Their service station is small and spartan, but the staff is friendly and they know their stuff. They're almost psychic: they recommended that I replace my tires, as the tread was nearing the end of its useful life. A couple of hours later, one of the tires blew out dramatically, and I discovered a large piece of metal had punctured the tire and was still rattling around inside it! And no, I had no suspicion that the Car Czar had any part in this. They don't sell tires, and they didn't recommend a brand or a dealer. I had been putting off buying new tires for a while, and my luck just ran out.

My husband was the one who dealt with them and he has been very happy with them for the second time now. He had used their services in the last year. He feels that they do a really good job. They are honest and their prices are fair. Their prices are a whole lot better than the dealers and it’s surprising. The last job was a major job and it took a little longer than he thought it was going to, but other than that, I know that he was happy with what they did. They were prompt when my husband went back and they stand behind their work. I think that it is important when somebody stands behind what they do. It’s a triple A shop and so I recommend them. It’s hard to comment on their price because you don’t get a great price that you like. I think they are okay for what they do. Their punctuality was fine although they didn’t give us a finished date of service.

I thought that their customer service was very good and I thought their price was reasonable for the work.

Went in for growling wheel bearing noise on right side. Also mushy brake pedal. Czar confirmed right Hub needed replacing. Also said left Hub was about to go. Master Cylinder was also bad, which was the cause of the mushy brake pedal. Estimate included new Rotors rather than just having them machined. These rotors only had about 60,000 miles on them and they were not grooved. Asked them if they were within spec for resurfacing, and really could not get a straight answer. They seem to always want to go with new parts on brake jobs. Questioned the high price quoted for Hubs. They do not use GM parts. I could go across the street to Kragans and purchase similar quality hubs for about $100 less per hub. They discounted the price of the hubs to $205.80 each. The work was done on time and all problems were fixed. Brake pedal feels as good as new.

They were excellent. When they say they are going to call and have the car done they do. They give you an estimate and stick to it. They are great all around, friendly, professional and on time. We really trust them.

Joyce is great--she works in the front office and makes sure we get right in and get the job done correctly. I've never had a problem with the shop in all the time I have gone there. And they give good referrals to reputable companies--like when I needed a new clutch.

Reception was courteous and informative. Gave me estimated costs over the phone for replacing all or a pair of struts. Stated they would determine what was needed and call me prior to doing work. They could have sold me a full set, but didn't--I respect integrity. Work was done in time given.

The mechanic, I spoke with was very helpful and candid about auto dealerships they have worked with. He clearly knew the drill and was unafraid to tell me, which dealers I could trust on mechanical issues. The Car Czar gave me the most expensive quote for a car inspection, but I think it's worth getting some honest advice.

I was very happy with their careful review and the final price. They took the time to make sure they they had correctly diagnosed the problem (for example, waiting several hours for the car to cool down before restarting) instead of fixing the first thing they saw.
