Silva's Tree Service

Called Silva's and was excited to use them. Small family owned Dad and son type of business.
Excellent response to my initial call, as well as estimate and scheduling the service. Also reasonable price.
The only issue is that I explained in detail that there were drainage pipes beneath the ground that I did not want damaged. I even went as far and digging and exposing the surrounding drainage pipes around the tree so they could see the pipes and my specific instructions were that I did not want the pipes damaged. I was told they would go as low to the ground as possible so that the pipes were not damaged but they couldn't promise a stump would not still be visable and I said 'fineand quot;. I wasn't worried about the stump as much as the pipes. Well, the result is they did a fantastic job removing the tree and the stump (and they cleaned up nicely) but certainly broke my drainage pipe. I understand...mistakes happen. But mistakes give you an opportunity to make corrections. They explained to my wife that they broke the pipe and showed her damage was done, so thank you for disclosing this. However, I did not receive any phone calles, apologies, or plans for correction other than a receipt with the words written and quot;not resp for pipeand quot;.

They were okay. It wasn't a major job but everything went fine. They were here on time and did their job. My only criticism was that there was one minor spot in the yard that they didn't get cleaned up real well, but it was really minor. They did a good job. They did exactly what I wanted them to do and they let me have some input in it. The price was fine; it was reasonable for climbing up in the trees.

I've used Silva's service several times now, and always to my complete satisfaction. Good folks.

They came promptly to give an estimate and were able to complete the job just a few days later. They arrived on time and went right to work. They asked if I'd like to keep some of the wood for our firepit, and cut and stacked about a cord of wood by our firepit, at no extra charge. Their estimate was the lowest I received and they did a great job.

All work was done punctually and professionally. The crew knew what they were doing and worked very well together. The work was done quickly and entirely to my satisfaction. I've used other tree services, but these folks are the best.
