HALL'S FURNITURE & APPLIANCE

Our frame needed to be repaired and when they picked it up, they damaged my couch. They dropped it on cement and drugged it ripping the leather. They also drug it across a screen door that scratched the front of it. When the owner called about the issue, his solution was to paint over the leather. In my opinion, that is not a sufficient solution. We did not cause this damage. My couches were in perfect condition less than two years old. I have video of them dropping and damaging the couches. I understand that the couches were discontinued and he could not replace him physically, but he could replace them with something of equal value or offer to have it completely reupholstered or cash value for the cost of it. And instead, he wanted to go to the cheapest route for himself and that was the paint over the tears.

I found a sale ad in the newspaper for Halls. We looked around the store for awhile on our own. The sales person offered to help. Finally we asked a few questions and were directed to a few styles he thought we might like. We made a choice. The paperwork was minimal. The people were friendly but professional. They promised delivery on a specific date. They showed up on that date made sure they could fit the items through the doorways and halls to the room they were to be in. They didn't leave dirt or mark walls or rugs during the delivery. They took away the old furniture. They seem to be an old fashioned business that cares about delivering a good product in a friendly, efficient, business like manner. A-OK in my book.

They get a 'B' for price only because it's not cheap.  However, it is good value for price. I bought 2 extra large leather recliner chairs.
