 + -1 moreDee Dee, the owner, explained to me the service to be performed on the visit. They were prompt and efficient. They repaired my TV at my house and were extremely professional and courteous. Dee Dee gave me a quote over the phone when I gave her my model number on my TV, with a descriiption of the problem I was having with it. She also gave me a discount for being on Angie's list. The whole experience was very good and I would use them agian in a heartbeat!!!!
Description of Work: Housecall to repair 40" flat screen TV, replace components that were burnt out, making it difficult to turn on the TV.

Description of Work: Thank you Angie's List! I used to take my TV/VCR combos to West Coast Audio/Video all the time for cleaning and repairs. I bought a couple of new ones so hadn't needed any servicing for awhile. The old location changed to a new tenant and I thought that West Coast had closed up like so many other businesses over the last few years. When I needed service again I checked Angie's for where I might be able to go. To my absolute delight there was West Coast right around the corner from the old location. I dropped my TV one day and in their usual efficient manner it was ready the next.

 + -1 moreThey kept me informed via telephone every couple of days, I've never before experienced a repair service of any kind that maintained such excellent communication with the customer. They were very proactive about keeping me updated. Even though the store paid for the repair, I wouldn't hesitate to use West Coast Audio Video again because of their customer service and professionalism.
Description of Work: My Vizio flat-screen TV died just 1 month out of warranty. It kept turning itself off and wouldn't turn back on for several hours. I called the store where I bought it and was referred to West Coast Audio Video in Chula Vista. The owner and his son promptly came out and picked up the set. It took about 2 weeks because they had to order a part (don't buy a Vizio!). When the first part didn't solve the problem, they called me and told me they had to order a different part and it would take another week. When they returned the set, it worked perfectly. They replaced one of the main circuit boards in the TV.
