I had been having trouble with my garage door opener on and off for some months. It would take several attempts with the remote for the door to stay down. Obviously something was off. Also, the opener was over 20 years old so I thought I probably needed a new one. I called Sweany's Garage door service in the morning and even though he had a full day scheduled, he came over to take a look. He was punctual - right on time and very professional. He immediately saw what the problem was and made some adjustments. He also showed me how to do it myself which I really appreciated. He did a bit of tuning up on the opener before he left. He said it sounded pretty good for such an old opener. When this one does finally go, I will definitely call Sweany's to install a new one for me. It's good to find an honest dealer.

We have been calling Mr. Sweany for 17 years to handle our garage door repairs. We have a two-car garage and the door is opened by an electric motor. We live near the beach, so there are often problems with the door due to the salt air. Mr. Sweany has consistently responded the same day we call or the next day and has always fixed the problem promptly for a reasonable price. He also installed a new motor for us several years ago and it has worked well.

Everything went perfectly as scheduled. They were completely trustworthy (they were in my home without supervision) and they cleaned up when they were done. This was completely effortless for me :-)

My wife called in the morning and a very nice helpful lady answered the phone and gave her an accurate estimate over the phone. Originally scheduled the work for the next day because they were booked. Later that day they received a cancellation and called to let us know. They came out and fixed repaired our garage door that same day. The work was quality and completed quickly. They even taught my wife some preventative maintenance tips. Nice job guys, thanks!

This is a family operation. The mother answers the phone and runs the office, from what I can gather, and the sons do the work. The business was started by the family. I hope I got that history right. I watched these two brothers work together. It was like a ballet. Every move perfectly coordinated. Everything done almost without a word. Perfect. We were so pleased at how it worked once they were done. However, I readjusted the garage door opener, and the door swung down too hard in the last 1/3 of the arc. They returned, readjusted their settings, and made it all work perfectly, and didn't charge a nickel for their trouble. I gave each of them a good tip, and would use them again in an instant. The price was very good too, and I know that they used the more expensive brackets that are better than others to do the job right.

THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY SWEANY'S GARAGE DOOR SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. THEY INSTALLED A NEW METAL GARAGE DOOR, REMOVED OUR OLD WOODEN DOOR, AND INSTALLED A NEW GARAGE DOOR OPENER.

WE FOUND THEM IN THE PHONE BOOK AFTER CALLING APPROXIMATELY 10 COMPANIES ADVERTISING 24-HOUR SERVICE. THEY DO NOT PROVIDE THIS SERVICE BUT CALLED BACK EARLY THE NEXT MORNING TO ADDRESS MY NEEDS. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL, REASONABLY PRICED AND THE TURN-AROUND TIME FOR THE NEW DOOR WAS SHORTER THAN I ANTICIPATED. THEY REPAIRED THE DOOR ONCE AND TOLD ME IT WAS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT SO WE WOULDN'T BE CHARGED. ALTHOUGH THAT'S THE PROFESSIONAL THING TO DO, I WAS JUST IMPRESSED AT THEIR HONESTY. OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS VERY POSITIVE WITH SWEANY'S.
