All work was completed with no problems.

It went as well as recieving a diagnosis and a $2,100 quote to fix the problem could go, I guess. This particular transmission problem has been part of a vehicle recall as well as a class action suit settlement, neither of which qualified for as the result of ownership and/or mileage requirements. As a result I plan on getting a quote from a dealership to see if I might be entitled to, at the very least; some sort of discounted repairs. If I find that the dealership will not fix this issue at a discounted rate I will take my car back to Precision Motors for repairs.

Precision Motors is a local company and I find the gentleman to be highly reputable. I have been going to them and because of me all my neighbors have been going to them for at least 20 years. The price they charged me on the last visit included the parts. They are extremely honest. I went in there 20 years or 25 years ago to have my air-conditioner checked because I was taking a vacation. They had a coupon in their little flyers around here and I went in there. They took out all the Freon out of my system, measured what came out and put back in what it needed. When they were done about an hour later, they told me my car didn't need any Freon and it was working fine and there was no charge. They could have told me that my car needed 3 pints of Freon, but they charged me nothing. For a first time experience, I thought that was pretty good. I shop around for price and I find Precision Motors to be better than the competition of that sort. They are all certified FAA mechanics there. It's a family business and they all have their licenses on the wall from the State of California and whoever else requires licensing. Sometimes they take a little longer than they do initially. They have so much business that they over-estimate how quickly they can do something. They are very professional.
