Green Locksmith Chula Vista

Only specific amount mentioned was 29.00 service call (very reasonable).  Company said tech would discuss other prices based on complexity of job. Received phone calls from two techs and it appeared I was double booked by company.  Finally one tech came over, and he was 45 minutes late with no notification until i called the company. job was straightforward replacement of a handle set onto a door that already had a similar handleset (both quikset) and original was already removed. Tech quoted me 29.00 for service call, 150.00 just to install handleset and then 90.00 to rekey.  I called company and expressed my displeasure at the pricing.  They spoke to tech and initial response was 40.00 off rekey charge.  Eventually after talking to company and tech several times agreed to 180.00 total as i needed to get a lock installed.  In the end I think i ended up with a fair price though still a little high.  I called based on location (and 2 A's on Angies List).  The more frequently reviewed locksmiths I called afterwards quoted me rates at about 150 for the entire job. I did not inspect the job as closely as I should have afterward because tech caused some damage to door when installed lock and did not point it out to me...my hit for not being careful.  I have not addressed with company yet so cannot comment on their response yet.
Lesson learned on my part, hopefully a lesson for you all not to have to learn.
Frustrating experience.

Green Locksmith arrived on time. Listened closely to what I wanted and installed new locks on all three doors. He even helped me find my little dog when she escaped out the open front door.  Ten days after the locks were installed I found that I needed extra spare keys. I called Green Locksmith and they made the spare keys and shipped them to the house.  Great service.  

I needed emergency replacement keys the other day and called these guys. 30 minutes later, I was already provided with my replacement keys. I must say that I was very pleased with this company?s services,
