I had to watch over the construction and I caught many errors including 3 that the contractor did not fix. During this time I took over 600 photos and presented them to the contractor to show them what items were not being built correctly. In one instance, it took me 6 months to get the contractor to fix two windows which were out of vertical alignment by 1.5 inches. Insulation inside the walls was never installed properly and it cost me over $3,500. Closing escrow was extremely rough because the contractor would not repair all items before closing escrow AND they charged $500/day for every day I did not close by their timing. I came very close to suing this company for non-performance.

THE PROCESS OF BUYING THE HOUSE WAS EXCELLENT. THEY WERE VERY ORGANIZED AND FAIR. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THE COMPANIES HIRED TO FIX DETAILS THAT COME UP AFTER, DURING WARRANTY TIME, WERE PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL.
