BECKA AUTOMOTIVE

I will summarize my review with beware! They damage vehicles, they are not honest people and worst of all they try to ridicule their customers ability to pay should the customer not repair at their facility. They did offer to repair the damage after staff was very rude and lied about the entire incident. However we are not comfortable with them touching our vehicle anymore especially since they passed blame, lied and now posted a very unprofessional response on my Yelp review. You should never try and assume much less try and make fun of a customers financial situation. Especially with COVID and the the hardships people are experiencing. To be extremely clear we do not want anything from the repair shop we don’t trust them and won’t ever do business with them or let them touch one of our vehicles again. Basic math 67784 km is 42k miles which is less the. 50k miles as I started.

I don't know if I got him off Angie's List or not. I've been fairly happy with them so far that's why I go back to him. Been seeing him for a couple years now. Price, I give him maybe a B. People can always be less price. Overall, I just feel the guy, I'm gonna say maybe his honesty. Sometimes with a lot of mechanics you feel like they're jerking you around. I just don't get that feeling with this guy. It's kind of hard to say how long it took, because I take the car in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon. I'm not sitting there waiting for it. They don't really have a waiting area.

Dan asked me to bring my car in just for a quick check, no charge. It's a 1994 car so I thought he was going to do a cursory look but he did spend about 10 minutes trying to see if it was a cooling issue. He discovered that the fans were not coming on. He did say he did not have an electrician to run a diagnostic so he couldn't do more than he did. But I absolutely appreciate the time he took to see if it was something he could fix.

He's great about getting everything taken care of. We always recommend him to our friends and family if they need any car repairs done.

Becka Automotive provided excellent service and kept us informed of what was needed.  The repairs were completed very quickly and we are extremely satisfied with all aspects of the service and repairs.  Becka Automotive will be our go to place for all auto repairs for all of our cars.  They were friendly and very professional throughout the whole process - we will definitely recommend them to our friends.

I called in the morning and got an appointment within 4 hours.
Received estimate and left vehicle for service.  With the Ford truck door windows, repair is accomplished by replacement of the entire mechanism.  The Ford part was the biggest percentage of the bill at $179.09. 
Repair was completed promptly the same day.  A call was received early in the afternoon informing us that the vehicle was ready for pick-up.
The cost was reasonable and fair.  Repair was done to my complete satisfaction:  my electric window is working!
Didn't need a courtesy ride this time, but used it last time I had taken my auto in for service here.  Courtesy rides is a very convenient service.
Previously they replaced the water pump on my Crown Victoria.  The costs were certainly an improvement over the dealer where I used to always get my auto repair done.
The customer interface is clear, professional and cordial.  No surprise second phone calls with upsell estimates!
I have high standards in who I have doing work on my car.  Regardless of mileage I keep my cars looking and running like nearly new.  I plan on returning to Becka Automotive with my next auto repair issue!  To the best of our knowledge, we have never previously met the owners or any employee of this business.

They did a great job. The owner consulted with me over the phone to help me further diagnose what the problems might be. The appointment was promptly made. When I took the car in the owner and manager examined the car and gave me initial evaluation of problems and costs. They provided transportation home. The manager gave me ongoing updates on progress of problems and repairs. The repairs were made and work finished as promised. They picked me up and took me to the shop to get the car. The service was prompt and courteous. I would definitely use them again and refer others to this garage.

Replaced the radiator, spark plugs and wires, front breaks and rotated the tires.

They were prompt at my appointment time, gave me a comfortable waiting room to wait in, took a minimum amount of time. Fixed the problem with my gas pedal and also added a point of oil. I would gladly use them again, and have recommended them already to friends.

How can I write this without sounding like I own stock in the company? My experience with Becka Auto Repair was great; beyond my expectations. This time around I didn?t have much time to diagnose and fix the problem with my truck so I reluctantly started my search for a trust worthy auto repair shop.

Looked up a local repair shop on Angie?s List (btw, cool service you guys provide). I was enthusiastically greeted over the phone, so I decided to go-ahead make an appointment with Becka Auto. The problem went away but I knew it would come back again so kept the appointment. When I arrived, I was enthusiastically greeted with a smile and firm handshake from Dan. Dan put me into his computer, I gave him my keys, but before I left, he did a quick ODBII read on the truck while I was there. He confirmed the error code I received. What I didn?t tell him was that I got the error codes ahead of time to make sure there were no shenanigans. Becka passed my test. What impressed me was that instead of just going by the error code and just replacing the TPS (throttle positioning sensor) like most places might have done, he insisted on doing additional diagnostics and troubleshooting to try and replicate the problem. He wanted to make sure the problem was fixed the 1st time. That was cool; Becka passed my 2nd test. I didn?t even know I had a 2nd test!

I?m definitely going to recommend Becka to my friends and family; and maybe I'll recommend Angie?s list as well ;)

Very well.   Still need to do some road testing but done quickly and seems so far like quality work.
Dropped me off at work while repairs were done.  Picked me up too when done, but I work down the block from the place.

Called them up and discussed the procedure.  They provided excellent information on pros and cons of the coolant type selection.
Dropped off the car and they took care of me right away.
Service was performed within the time frame that was agreed upon.
They completed the service for the charges discussed.
Staff was very polite and accomodating.
I am very leery of auto service shops and avoid having work done (I do my own work) but this experience has at least provided me with one auto service provider that I feel I can trust in the event that I need to have someone else do the work.

Originally I had an electrical short in my system which resulted in to tail lights/dash lights. Two buddies and self worked all day to trace down short. We gave up. No success. One of my buddies said he had a good auto service he used once. He found them to be honest and reliable. He gave me their card. I called right then and discussed the problem with owner. We set date and I brought van in. Within two hours Kevin found the short, repaired it and put vehicle back together. Remember, this took three of us all day and we couldn't find the problem. I then went back to Becka Automotive to have Kevin install new readio and rewire sound system. Did an excellent job. Had it all completed within one hour. Cost of electrical work is $90 an hour which is pretty standard for this area. So, I was out the door for $90.

THIS IS THE BEST AUTOMOTIVE SHOP. THEY ARE THE MOST HONEST AND KIND PEOPLE. THEY ALWAYS TAKE THE TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING SO YOU KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AND WHAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR.
