We are a family owned and operated plumbing business since 1992. The company’s success has been built on honesty, reliability, referrals, repeat business, reputation and most of all customer satisfaction with every plumbing service we provide. Our services include sewer cleaning, water heater service, kitchen and bathroom plumbing (including servicing and installing sinks, faucets, angle stops, garbage disposals, dishwashers, ice makers, gas lines, toilets, tub valves, shower valves, and drains), backyard plumbing, fixing stoppages & slab leaks, and kitchen/bathroom remodeling. We also specialize in sewer repair/replacement and full service copper re-piping. We provide prompt, reliable and quality service to most of San Bernardino County, Chino Valley and the Pomona Valley, including areas like Phillips Ranch, Chino, Chino Hills, Pomona, Ontario, Diamond Bar, Walnut, San Dimas, La Verne, Azusa, Covina, Glendora, West Covina, Claremont, Montclair, Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Corona, Yorba Linda, and Anaheim Hills. We service many HOA’s and work with many property management companies in the area. Our service technicians are experienced and are paid hourly and not by commission. We do not require our technicians to sell, our company sells itself. We have 25+ years of experience in the commercial and residential plumbing trade.

Well, I will give my summary first...
- I'm $265 lighter in my wallet
- I'm $265 lighter in my wallet
- - My shower valves are leaking worse than when Vortex arrived.
- - They charged me for parts that did not fix my problem.
- - The repairman could not give me a price to properly fix my problem, but said the and quot;bossand quot; would call me. It's been three days and I haven't heard a peep from Vortex.
- - I suggested that they might consider appying some of the cost of the failed valve repair or parts to replacing the valves. The repairman onsite said they don't do that, but I would have to take it up with the and quot;bossand quot;.
- When I originally called and spoke with the young lady who answers their calls my expectations were that the and quot;best caseand quot; would be an hour of labor and parts to fix the leaky valve - about $150 total. and quot;Worst caseand quot; would be to replace the valve which would be about 4 hours of labor and parts - about $500.
- After 21/2 hours and parts, I finally learned that I will have to pay for the failed valve repair and parts and THEN, will have to start a new project to replace the valve.
- I don't think Vortex knows how to properly set customers' expectations, or manage a project. My confidence is pretty low and won't use them for the rest of the project.
- I'm pretty bummed, since Vortex is a local company and I'd like to use them and recommend them, but since they didn't perform or follow through I would not use them or recommend them.

They came out right away. A new technician came out that the owner had just hired. He had little experience. He had to call the owner every fifteen minutes for advice. The owner finally came out to complete the work. The clog was only a few feet away from the disposal but it took all day to do the work. They finished the job and the problem has not come back. However, they charged me extra for the time spent.

Plumber came at promised time window to replace a leaky faucet. Initially, I thought $83/hr was a bit expensive, but the service men came in and described what needed to be done and at what costs. Also explained if I needed to do more, he'd charge additional fees. Very informative. He replaced leaky faucet on promised time within and hour. Charged me labor + part cost = $125. Highly recommended service!

The plumber checked the line from the toilet and found that it was clear. The toilet was the problem, so a new one was ordered and installed within a day or so.

I have used them twice. They were reasonably priced. They were professional. I liked their demeanor which was friendly. They tried to send the same person that I had worked with before when I called them the second time.

Vortex quickly responded to my call and came out immediately (on a rainy day!) to spend the day digging in the mud which is what my front yard had become due to a leak in my water main. They performed the work but didn't request payment until they returned the following week to ensure the yard was dry since it was so soaked from leak and rain to show me the finished product at the time. The work was done at a very reasonable price, less than expected. I expressed my fear that I would have to re-pipe the whole main and they assured me they would work to keep cost down and repair in the most efficient and cost effective way. I am always leary of using a plumber I have never used that was not referred by a friend but would definitely recommend them. Great service and very friendly.

The connectors that we purchased could not be used. Luckily the service-man had enough in his van, and the price was reasonable. He was courteous, professional, and cleaned up very thoroughly after work was done.

He came on time and it was the same plumber from his previous visit. He asked about how his previous job was working and I remarked that it was fine. He then went to the new toilet problem and he fixed it and two others. I didnt ask him to do it, but he turned on the main again and tested it to make sure it was working. He even remembered the name of my dog!

On Friday night, I discovered that my water heater was leaking. I researched plumbers on Angie's List and selected one with an "A" rating who was also located in my neighborhood. I left a message on Friday night. On Saturday morning, Mike returned my call and I described my situation. He said that it did not sound like an emergency and recommended that I schedule the appointment on Monday morning. He also said that I might not have to replace the water heater, but that they would bring one, just in case. His servicemen came on Monday morning within the agreed to window of time. They inspected the water heater and said that it would have to be replaced. They did an efficient job and thoroughly cleaned up behind themselves.

The leak was fixed effectively. The plumbers arrived on time and did a great job. At the same time provided honest advice. I had expected a new tank at $1,000 plus but the bill was less than $100.

This company did a fantastic job. They saw the problem and fixed it. I haven't had any problem since then. The people are very friendly and professional. I don t recall the price, but I remember it was fairly decent for what they did.

The first appointment was in the same day afternoon. Near the end of appointment time period, the office called to tell me the plumber couldn't visit today and rescheduled for next day morning. Lew Escobar arrived on time and promptly started to troubleshoot. He was very friendly and explained what he was doing. He found the water heater cold water isolation valve would not operate and he replaced the valve. After further investigation, he declared I had a defective water heater. Since the water heater was installed by another plumber and was still under warranty, after checking with his office, he recommended that I work with the original plumber to avoid potential warranty problem. Since he couldn't fix the problem, he only charged the minimum service charge and did not charge me for the isolation valve.

Lew as on time, very friendly and polite and took the time to explain what he was doing and why it needed to be done. We had some really rusted out hardware. He worked quickly and would have been done sooner except for the fact that my husband had to go back to the hardware store to exchange some of the hardware.
