 + -1 moreWe woke up without hot water and had to go the gym to take a shower and shave.Not fund! we called Steve and he was over right away. he managed the phone call with the manufacturer and got the warranty matter resolved but had to spend ALOT of time on the phone with half the plumbing distributors in the Inland Empire to find someone who had the right water heater in stock that day. then he had to get the manufacturer to contact the distributor and release the new water heater to us under warranty so we wouldn't have to pay for the new one. It's kind of a hassle but Steve took it all in stride. the reason why this is so helpful to me is that I had to be out of the house and pretty much had to leave all of this to him to do and get done, i.e. getting the manufacturer to honor the warranty, finding the right water heater and then the awful drive to San Bernardino where he finally found it. and the drive back and the install, he handled it all for me while i was out the whole day as was my wife. Quite a chore and on Valentine's day to boot. great job great experience.
Description of Work: We had Steve in twice this week and both times he dropped everything to help us out. the first time was just some odds and ends on our plumbing, we had a leak under the kitchen sink and a leak in the upstairs bathroom but yesterday our water heater broke down and we were without hot water. Fortunately the water heater itself was under warranty and the Manufacturer agreed to replace it but the closest place to get the right replacement water heater was all the way out in San Bernardino. Steve without a whimper agreed to drive out to San Bernardino, pick up the replacement water heater and drive back, an extra two hours out of his day. plus, he took away the old water heater and installed the new one before mid afternoon. both my wife and I had to be out of the house for work and family matters and we left the house to Steve and he took care of everything. I've used Steve for years on plumbing matters and should have probably written up a review a long time ago but yesterday he really distinguished himself. It was Valentine's day of course and my wife and I had plans and he also had his own plans but he really knocked himself out and put us first and made sure we had hot water. He also taught me how to drain the water heater (which is something I didn't even realize I should be doing twice a year) but now I know and hopefully this water heater is going to last.
