The service was good. I really like the guy, very professional--no messing around here. I'll give him a 5/5. We had other concrete work done by someone else when we first moved into this house and it wasn't near to the level that Al's Concrete did. I would recommend them to anybody.

Great!  Al is fantastic with layout and the details of the work.  He is a perfectionist and the work shows his commitment to making a great looking final product.

Called this company several times over the course of a couple weeks, always having to leave a voice mail message. I got one return call leaving a very brief message.  Never heard back form them again to any of my calls or requests to call me back.  They didn't seem very reliable.

Al's concrete did a great job. They even did a wonderful job cleaning up the mess that sanding concrete makes. I am delighted with he work they did.

He had a really good crew and they worked really hard, they came on time, and the price was lower than the other estimates that I had done. He also gave me a discount for being an Angie's List member. The patio looks beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone.

I found him to be very knowledgable and friendly.  He came when he said he would for each appt and was very thorough and professional. His workers were great and cleaned up after themselves. he even came by after it was all done and checked out the finishe work and asked if we were satisfied. We assured him we were. We will definitely use him again

We had the area dugout and then proceeded with added a water line and drain for the sink. Had to move one sprinkler. First pour was for the footings then the base to support the bar.  The frame work for the bar it's self was pretty amazing to see. It rained on the day he pour the bar so a cover had to be put in place to keep it dry, did a great job with that.  Four posts were used to support the cover/roof, that went up pretty quickly once the bar had dried.  Tracy was real easy to work with and the price did not chance and the schedule was kept. Better yet the bar looks awesome.  I added a few coins I had for a design to the bar counter top just for a personnel touch. Very happy with the way everything matches and looks.

They did a great job with the work and we have no complaints.

Tracy of Al's Concrete did the estimate and was my POC. He lessened to our plan and came up with some very insightful recommendations to improve the design and save us some money.  This was done by making the walkway around the pool a little smaller and adding more to the main deck area. He also let me help with the removal of some of the old concrete and digging up some of the grass around the pool. Tracy also added some nice shaping to the outer edge of the deck by rounding it more and getting away from the older strait line look.  Tracy also had great ideas on colors from the cool deck and stamp so they would complement each other. Once that was done the work starting on time and kept to schedule.  The crew was very good at cleaning up after the days work and very professional.  To get to the back yard they had to drive the Bob Cat across my front lawn and remove part of the fence.  They were very careful to cause minimal damage and the grass grew back and the fence was replaced. It was a great leaning experience watching the cool deck being applied, stamp and coloring.  I felt I was well informed all the time and I personally found the years of experience were obvious in all the little details that got done right. My wife and I are very happy with our pool deck area and receive a lot of complements on it. Just wonderful.

Great. We had gotten Al's Concrete from other contractors we worked with and trusted. They said that Al's Concrete was a family run and long time Chico family owned business. Tracy, one of the owners, came by within a day of calling to look at the job. He had a written estimate finished and delivered within two days. He allowed in the estimate for each aspect of the intended job. I had asked what the figure might be if we did our own take out. He was happy to give me both estimates in clear detail. I went with Al's Concrete doing the whole job. They came on March 2, 2010 and did the take out. It rained March 3rd. They came back on March 4th and poured the driveway. They fixed three sprinklers that had been damaged during the take out at no extra cost to us. They did a beautiful and professional job. They gave clear instructions on when we were allowed to get back on the driveway both walking and then with our vehicles. They left cones around the driveway, came back and checked on the work a couple of times and when it was set, removed the cones - seven days later. Great job start to finish.
