Recommended by Wakefield Glass, Chico. Contacted Jim Pool, owner by phone. Told him wanted to replace front entrance door with a "window" door. He said he had several examples at his shop and numerous catalogs. Made an appointment to see him. He was there at the time of appointment. Showed my wife and I his samples and we were able to find exactly what we wanted. He quoted a price of $305 for the door and $350 to hang it. We agreed to the terms. Four days later we got a call from the "door hanger" (Greg Stanley) letting us know that the door was ready to be installed. He said he would be by to pick up our door the next morning. He arrived on time, picked up our existing door (took about fifteen minutes), took the existing door to the shop and returned about an hour and a half later with the new door. It took Greg about twenty minutes to hang the door. Due to the fact that there was really no problem in hanging he reduced those charges to $250.Jim Pool, his staff at the shop and Greg were clean, professional, knowledgeable and exhibited superior craftsmanship in every facet of our experience. In short each and every one  we dealt with did exactly what they said they were going to do.I recommend them highly.
