They had to replace some parts on the toilet. It was maybe $170 with the service call and the parts.

fine, as always w/ this provider.    There was an initial service charge for the first visit on 2/22, but when Tony came back two weeks later to do actual repairs, the only add'l charge was for the new parts he installed.  Service charge:  $105; parts $94.06.  we have been using Frankel Plumbing for decades, and have found them to be professional, responsible, and very capable.  they come on time and know what they're doing once they get here.  I would not hesitate to use them again or to refer them to others.

They offer good, reliable service.  I have used them and will continue to use their services.

We've used them before. They came and did an assessment and gave a pretty spot on estimate. Ordered part and followed up and installed in a timely fashion and were clean and professional.

Install new toilet. Even replaced new wax ring with higher grade wax ring at no cost because 'it wouldn't be right' according to installer. Very nice of him!

As of June 6, 2013, just 6 months after the work was completed one of the toilets is leaking from the base. We called them out to see what the problem was and have it reparied. We were told that even though they had done the work only 6 months ago, regardless of what the problem was, they were going to charge me not just for the repair, but also for the service call. There work was under warranty for only 90 days....and if any of my newly laid tiles (which were installed just after they were here in November) were damaged in the process they would not be responsible for that either. The only thing they would fix without charging me was the seal if that was broken...there is no way to determine if that was in fact broken without incurring the service call and the fee to remove and replace the toilet, and then whatever damage was done to my tiles.
Customer service is obviously not important to this company. There are many plumbing companies out there....in fact one is on the way to my house now to fix William Frankel's faulty work, and there is not need to deal with companies that don't stand behind their work, or provide at least minimal, common sense customer service.
We are currently in the middle of a several stage remodel, and we most surely never use William Frankel Plumbing again. There inability to provide quality work or customer service when there is a problem, has lost them a much bigger future job.

No stress. All jobs were done in a very timely manner by very professional workers.Nothing was left for me to clean up.

I've used them for years and I like all the people that work for them.

The service was professional and I was given good advice.

Second visit in the same year. Excellent on all counts.

They are really good and really honest. They are reasonably priced. They always do what they tell you. They are really forthcoming with what needs to be done and they don't try to get you to do all these other things as well.

My toilet was running really slow so I called them out on 10/19 for a rooter thinking that would take care of it. They rootered and found debris (roots etc) but had no way to clean it out so they were upfront that this would probably only be a temporary fix. I needed a clean out (the house is 60 years old and never had one installed). They quoted me a reasonable price but I thought I could delay it for a few weeks. I called 3 days later in a panic because the toilet stopped completely. They came out and I consented to the install and they began work right away to get my pipes flowing again. They left everything neat and tidy and secure that evening and said they would return on Monday. They arrived promptly to finish the job and when they were all done they left it as if they had never been there. The gentleman I dealt with, Ben, was a dream. He kept me informed along the way, was courteous, straightforward and very knowledgeable. Ben and the Company worked with me to alleviate the immediate financial strain. As a homeowner it is nice to have piece of mind where one contractor is concerned. They are my plumbers for life.

The clog was discovered in the morning, and they were called. They showed up at the house late morning/early afternoon ahead of estimated time. They were able to clear the line and they will provide an estimate on suggested repairs of the root damage at a later date. Very pleased with their service.

They are always prompt and they try to come out the same day. They are very good at coming out for emergencies. They do charge the same price as most other plumbers. They came once and they got my bracelet that had been flushed down the toilet.

I called William Frankel and Son Plumbing and was told that someone would be out the next morning between 8 and 9. Ben arrived on time, knew immediately what the problem was, and fixed it quickly. The two workmen with him were very polite. I was happy that there was absolutely no mess to clean up after they were done. I would definitely hire them again.
