I was very pleased with the work Rapid Refrigeration performed for me. I waited until after I used the system for about 3/4 of a year to be sure I was happy with the system and company as well. The system is a carrier HVAC system and I am pleased with how it functions. It provides heat in the winter, coolness in the summer, quietly and efficiently. As far as the company goes I was very please with everything from the bidding process through installation and with the service and follow up afterwards. All the installers were professional, respectful and appeared to take the time to do the job correctly. Gene the owner and person whom I dealt with during the bidding process stopped by multiple times during the install to check in and monitor progress. As far as after installation follow up, the technician they sent to me really knew his stuff, took the time to explain to me anything I wanted to know and really seemed concerned with my satisfaction. I had two issues post installation which were addressed to my satisfaction. The first had to do with the heater shutting itself off the first time I ran it. There is apparently a post installation adjustment of the heating element that may need to be done to optimize the system. They came out in a reasonable amount of time and did the adjustment. The other issue I had was the thermostat did not have an adjustable "dead band" (how many degrees the temp changes before the system turns on). They quickly offered to replace it with one that was more appropriate to my needs at no cost to me. Very happy with the post installation service. Price, rebates and tax incentives are pretty much the same across the board. The installation quality, design and service in my opinion are the most important factors to consider when getting an HVAC system installed and Rapid Refrigeration has exceeded my expectations in all categories.

They billed me for the 2nd service (which was prepaid). The tech replaced the filter with MY filter, and they billed me for a new filter. 2 days after the service, we tried to actually use the furnace, and it didn't work. Called them back to fix the problem and they billed me for that service as well. After spending as much money with them as I have, I don't know why they would treat me so badly.

These guys are honest to work with. I have used them before and like them. They just seem to be fair, reliable and trustworthy. I have gotten to know a couple of the guys over the years. I just feel like they are looking out for the customer.

This company gave us good information that we could understand. We were able to decide on the exact unit that would work well with our home as per their recommendations. I thought that the workers were friendly and very professional, and we will definitely be having them in our home for future work because of their dependability and reasonable prices.

I am a little blurry on the remembrance of the company. I do remember them being here and not having any problems with them. They did a great job because I have not had to have them come back since this. I do have regular checks on the system through somebody else and they have never found a problem either. I feel that they are reasonably priced and I am confident I would not have a problem hiring them again.

BILL, ENGINEER, WAS FRIENDLY, AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE LOOKED FOR THE PROBLEM, AND DIDN'T JUST COME UP WITH A PART TO REPLACE. HIS KNOWLEDGE IMPRESSED ME.
