PREFERRED HOME INSPECTION SERVICE

They were supposed to strip and stain existing wooden stair banisters, etc. but ended up SPRAY PAINTING them. Now they look like Lincoln Logs. Awful. Also, communication was almost non- existent. The "stain guy" and the "paint guy" kept saying the other one was responsible for cleaning up stain or paint on floors, door jambs, etc.... I never knew who was coming when. Yaron, the salesman was fine, but he was the only one. There was no foreman, job supervisor, etc. The owner is a hothead belligerent guy. I could go on, but ill just say it was a very expensive learned, and I would not use them for ANYTHING again. We ended up doing most of the finishing work ourselves.

He meticulously looked over our soon-to-be house and pointed out everything that was an issue. However, our meeting (and eventual report) did not freak us out but instead prepared us for the next phase of the house buying process. After e-mailing his detailed report with pictures, he let us know that he was available for any questions. That was not just lip talk. I texted Jack several times for referrals and he responded in a timely fashion with skilled plumbers, pool specialist and such who had his similar work ethic. He even took the time to speak to some specialist who were doing more specialized inspections and estimates. If you can impress my engineer husband, than you must be solid. Hire Jack, full stop.
