They did the work promptly and on schedule. They helped me prioritize what I could get fixed now and what I could delay. They were responsive and answered all my questions.

Mark is obviously experienced with Volvo cars. He was nice and patient with me after my dealings with multiple auto repair shops including a dealership (that was a waste of money). They were able to do what no one else would do in repairing the wire harness. They emailed and texted me a list (with photos) of what work the car needed after doing the full diagnostic. We discussed what was most important to do now and what I could do on my next visit. That was a BIG help. It's been a week and a half and the car runs great. I would go to him again and will recommend him. And Colleen, his service writer, was great.

Mark's Independant Volvo SVC has been wonderful. I am extremely pleased. He did a fabulous job and I had used him in the past. He did the job in a very timely manner and it was very expensive but it was expensive anywhere I asked. The place is immaculate, the mechanics, the store are all immaculate and the car is washed and returned to the owner. The people working there are all Volvo experts and they have been trained by Mark.

I wanted to share a positive experience I had with Mark's Independent Volvo Service. I was looking to have power window actuators replaced on my 2008 Toyota 4Runner. Mark provided a price and let me know that there was a fee to remove the door panels to determine the issue. If I would use them, the cost would be applied to the overall bill. However, after they had taken off the door panels and were beyond the required and quot;minimum feeand quot; Mark discovered that the price he quoted me was incorrect and would in fact be a few hundred dollars more.
He said, and quot;since I shared a price that ended up being wrong, I will not charge you the minimum priceand quot; and you are free to go elsewhere if you find a less expensive place.and quot; I did find a cheaper place as my Toyota did not require the level of service Mark's provides and Volvos require.
I was just very impressed with Mark and his professionalism and would highly recommend him to others.

quality of the work was very good, but I thought the price charged was a little too high.

I liked that their staff is friendly and efficient. The car was ready when I needed it and when they said it would be. Their estimates were accurate for what I was quoted.

I felt Mark acted in a very professional manner; I was distressed about how much work had to be done, despite having tried to do due diligence. After the work was done, he insisted that I change the new oil after 3000 miles, instead of the normal 7500 mile interval Volvo recommends, and he also made recommendations about what brand of gasoline I should use. Mark is very knowledgable, he may be the best Volvo mechanic I have had as an owner of over fifteen different Volvos over the past thirty-five years.
