Galaxy Draperies

Called galaxy and had a positive response from office staff. Set up an appointment in a couple of days. Angel and Ed showed up right on time and had it installed in one hour. Great workmanship and a overall pleasant experience. I am purchasing an motorized awning for shade for the back yard and will have them back to install it.

I actually met a salesperson at Costco. I made a no obligation consultation for blinds, and met with the head of the company a few weeks later. I couldn't meet any sooner. Scheduling was easy and there were many samples to choose from. All of the materials are first rate. Nothing seemed flimsy or cheap. I also found that they were quite expensive. My windows are large, so there is no getting around the cost. I also believe that you get what you pay for. About a week after choosing my materials, an installer came to measure a second time and to check out my windows. He said he'd be back for installation. When the coverings were ready, I was contacted by the scheduling department. They actually scheduled me for the next day and on a weekend. I was thrilled that they could come and install so fast. In about an hour or two, both windows were done. I love the way they look and I love the technologies I picked. I know it was expensive, but I smile every time I look at them. I know I made the right choice.

He measured and gave a quote.  ten days later he delivered and installed it and helped me repair some other curtain rods.  Owner is very talkative. 

Matt Baker was our designer.  He arrived promptly, working around our tough schedules.  He came up with great suggestions in terms of the types of window coverings as well as color.  When we struggled with the type of product to use for our large sliding doors, Matt worked very hard to come up with options and was able to get it all done quickly.  Although we added and changed some of our order partway into the process, Matt was on it.  Our installation went smoothly.  Galaxy uses knowledgeable and capable contractors.
We love the way our house looks with all new window coverings, and would definitely recommend Matt and Galaxy.

We purchased multiple blinds for my office.  The day of installation, the people who came to my office did not understand what needs to be done.  When we reached out to the vendor, they disagreed and told us we were wrong.  We demanded to check the Plansheet that they drew up at the time of purchase. They had to contact their office to get a copy since the worker did not bring the Plansheet with them.  As soon as they saw the Plansheet, they agreed that they were wrong.  
This is a deal through Costco, so we cannot rate the pricing.  Based on our experience, we will never use this vendor again.

Our experience with Galaxy Drapes could not have been better.  We met Rick at the condo in January and he listened to what we were trying to accomplish, and then steered us to the right equipment and fabric.  He has huge sample books of fabric, but after listening to my wife and asking her a few questions, he was able to quickly show her what she was looking for (and it looks amazing installed on the windows).  
Also, the installer Galaxy sent was professional, highly experienced, careful, and did excellent work.  If you've ever had an installer show up who seemed like the random guy in the warehouse who didn't have anything else to do that day, you'll understand why I think that's so important.
Working with Rick was a treat.  He's obviously been doing this for a long time, enjoys it, and is really, really good at it.  
I wouldn't hesitate to use Galaxy again or recommend them to a friend.
