Update: I’ve decided to get my dogs prescription at chewy.com because it’s $0.09 a tablet as opposed to $3 at the vet. But they were not responding to requests from chewy to ok the or forward the prescription so I called. The woman at the office told me I had to bring Rudy in for a checkup to get the prescription, even though he was seen 4 times last year for the skin issue. They wanted $70 for the visit and addition fee for the doctor. I explained I’m a 72 yr old senior on a fixed income and in the middle of a pandemic. That the fee she’s asking is an extreme hardship, not to mention my fear of getting sick. I asked if there was possibly a senior discount, or a discount day. I was told that they do not offer any assistance “we are not a charity case” was her exact comment. I told her she was making me choose between getting groceries or paying for an unnecessary vet bill. I asked to have the vet call me, she told me I was no longer welcome there and the vet is very busy and would not call me. “Take your business elsewhere, we don’t want you here anymore” was what she told me. I was in there a recently with my other dog and was shocked to see, in the midst of this health crisis, the place is still disgustingly filthy. Original post: The Veteranarin is very sweet and seems caring but isn’t there often. Services are very basic I thought. Some staff are nice, others seem like they really couldn’t care less. Prices are very fair and they don’t push a lot of extras on you. THE PLACE IS FILTHY so I’m concerned about the filth I might not be able to see.

We've used Cozycroft for over 10 years. Unlike many vets in the area Dr. Haerther NEVER runs up the bill with excessive testing. He's so experienced he knows what tests and care your animal actually needs, and makes sure they get it. He's been treating our 4 cats, dog, and foster kittens for over 12 years. He and his staff love animals and understand how important they are to us. He's recently helped us deal with our older dog getting diabetes - helped us understand the blood levels, diet, home testing - everything involved.

It went fine. We take all of our dogs there. Always timely and the price is reasonable. He is very conservative with his treatments. He doesn't over charge with unnecessary services to build up the bill. He doesn't provide unnecessary treatments.

Dr Haerther was great. Even though we brought Scooby in close to closing time, he took care of him right away. It turned out that Scooby would need surgery to join the broken bone with a metal plate, which would cost several thousand dollars. Dr Haerther worked with us on the total cost of the care he provided, and tried to find a vet who could do the surgery as a charity case.
He wasn't able to, but i really appreciate the effort he put into our case.
Luckily my friend was able to find a breed-specific charity to arrange the surgery for Scooby, along with a foster family, but we couldn't have made it to that stage without Dr Haerther's kindness and advice.
Everyone on the staff was terrific - friendly and professional and very competent. You can tell that they all love animals!

I am so grateful for Dr. Steve and his staff. I was turned away from another vet for a scheduled bath and called Cozycroft. They saw me immediately and performed EVERYTHING I needed without overcharging me!

Dr. Haerther, the veterinarian is very good. He does not mince words, which I appreciate. He will state what his capabilities are for my pet and the cost for the service recommended. Their has never been an occasion of a punctuality issue. Occasionally, he will not call me back in a timely manner. On a different visit, the veterinarian performed surgery as my dog had a precancerous area removed. Fortunately, he was able to remove all of it with no return growths noted.

They did a thorough evaluation and they used the proper medication to treat the problem. I think they are very patient and the facility is just a wonderful place to take your animals.

It is always a great experience taking our dog to Cozy Croft Pet Hospital. I have been using them for fifteen years and I have always been happy with their work. They do not take appointments, it is on a strictly first come, first serve basis and I still hardly have to wait; which is amazing.

They are very good and very loving to the animals. Between 4:00 and 7:00 on Wednesdays, there is a discount on shots only at the clinic. They are also open six days a week.
