The movers arrived late on the first day. They did not start with the items we told them to start with, and therefore ran out of space in the truck and had to come back the next day and finish the job. They left the upstairs closet full of clothes, even though the manager states he asked my 90 year old mother if everything was complete. He shouldn't have asked these questions, remove everything from the home, that is what you are being paid for. Upon delivery to the new home, items were missing, My Samsung washing machine that was fully functional prior to moving, was not functional, and would cost $400 to repair, and to date (one week later), customer service has never returned our phone calls. Highly unprofessional, as long as they get their money, they are not going to continue to perform, and I even paid $50 out of my own pocket to feed their workers. Would never use again, and would highly recommend Angie's list look into to this company.

Had an outstanding experience with NorthStar. Everyone, from the people in the office to the guys working so hard to make our move happen, understood the importance of customer service. The guys were carefully efficient and really went the extra mile. They immediately put us at ease and let us know that our belongings were in good hands. Our initial faith was not misplaced. I’ve spent more than 30 years of my professional life in a field that requires you to always put the customer first and to treat the customer with great respect. NorthStar really gets it. I’m a fan for life, highly recommend this company
