Samsung 40" Digital TV (LN40A530) had defective/inappropriate capacitors (for Model Years 2007-2009) and after owning it for four years (and out of warranty) my TV failed to power on. Called Samsung. They had USACO call me for an appointment. An hour later I received a call from USACO and they set up an appointment for the next day. Two repair technicians (Art and Jesse) arrived ten minutes early; and very professionally and efficiently completed the job in my home in less than 20 minutes. They even got it to operate better than before in regard to the aspect ratio for non-digital channels. Since it was an established manufacturing problem, the repair was paid by Samsung. Quite pleased with both Samsung and USACO.

Our first red flag came when they demanded our credit card before they even showed up. They wanted $1,000.00 to replace the entire assembly, but when we declined, they said that if they could take it back to the shop, they might be able to fix it for $372.56. When we declined that, they offered to buy the set from us for "spare parts". Later, I did what I should have done in the first place, checked Angie's List for a reputable technician. He arrived within hours of our call, had all the necessary parts and tools with him, and fixed the set in 45 minutes for a cost of $169.00. It now works perfectly. I must assume that Usaco's technicians are either incompetent or dishonest.
